If Hurts goes down with an injury, I'll sure as hell be iffy. I'd say the team would be nervous. Nobody knows how the backup QB will react, because he's commanding a team now. If the defense is good enough to stop the offense and if the offensive line's able to block for the running back to run the ball, that would relieve pressure from the backup.

LOL maybe, but every years a new. Regardless of what you think.

The funniest thing about outyourmind saying this is he has us at 6-6 for his predictions. Meaning he is going back on his prediction or he believe you'll make the NCgame. Otherwise you won't play 2 more games if said prediction holds true.

I think you guys will finish higher then 6-6 but if you go 6-6, 7-5 or 8-4. You guys will be playing from behind and throwing the ball. OU if we go 11-1 or 10-2, we will run the clock out with RB by committee and a great Oline the 2nd half of a lot of games. Just for that reason, I think OU will out rush you guys. Although, if you have a Tavon Austin, all bets are off.

Nothing.
We've had a new QB every year since JFF and he only played two years. Par for the course.

Why can't Sumlin recruit and keep a QB? What is he doing to run these guys off?

Is it just me or does Wilton Speight suck? Every Michigan I've watched he has not looked good.

It's not the prettiest sight to see... He's not going to lose you many games, but he's definitely not going to win many games as the difference maker. 4/10, would bang if desperate.

Benched Hinney Hill. Off field issues causing on field performance issues

Threw Kyle Allen under the bus on national tv. Was playing hurt since Bama. Probably one of the worst performances by a QB against Ol Miss the next week. Every pass was flat and short. You could tell he was hurt. Sumlin left him out there. At the presser Sumlin denied that he was hurt and said he just didn't play well. Then played Kyler Murray instead for the next couple of games.

Wouldn't kiss Kyler Murrays dads ass.

Knight was a 1 year deal

Hubenek os ok but inconsistent

Mond is supposed to be really good but probably needs a red shirt. Pretty rough looking at the spring game

I think Starkel is going to get the start and do ok for a first year starter. Bama and LSU going to eat him alive though

You're aren't wrong. We very well could be playing from behind. I think 7-5 is a legitimate record.

With your offensive line I expect your backs to get some yards. My comments were to the two buffoons anointing oklahomas rbs as the second comings of Christ or automatically putting OU in the championship game.

Hell, we don't even know who's starting yet, so if he goes down, we'll be in the same boat we were in with him starting. In other words, nothing changes.

Gophers: We don't even know who our starter will be. So it'll go to the guy who lost out, most likely a 5th year senior who dominated rutgers

For UVA - it wouldn't matter much. Too many other issues to deal with. Just one more season without even sniffing a bowl game.

For WKU - I think that they'd still be a good team but don't think that they'd be able to 3 peat as conference champs with a backup QB.

Yeah, I said they would still contend for the north. All I said is the playoffs would be off the table. Like 9-3 ish at worst? :noidea:
Petersen went 6 - 6 two years in a row with NFL talent on defense but he didn't have a QB.

He was also clearing house and installing his culture at the same time. That is no longer a thing. He and his staff are fully up to speed.

UW also has two flat out stud RB's that both have a ton of experience. Add an Oline with a lot more maturity and experience than they had in Petersen's first couple of years and there is no reason to believe without Jake they would step all the way back to 6-6.

Will Washington Football team offense rely more on the pass or the run?

Really gonna suck in a year or two when Browning's gone, back to mediocrity I suppose. A Petersen team couldn't do better than 7-5 without him. :tsk:

some of the greatest players in the history of football got their chance because the person ahead of them got injured. me being from iowa Kurt Warner comes to mind first. TOM BRADY as well.

I'm sorry, 6-6... because we're using 3rd grade (at best) reasoning skills and stuff...

If you had half a brain you'd be fvckn dangerous. Petersen didn't do jack in regards to replacing Browning when he was hurt. The Stanford game in year two when Browning didn't play is a prime example. Petersen's offense is heavily dependent on the QB play.

2 years ago... who backed him up then? Is that the same team they have now? Year 2 when a true freshman was the best option at QB because one was working at Wal-Mart and the other ended up playing tight end is exactly where they're at now.
