The more and more I think about this matchup I want Guiton to start.
That's hilarious. 100% of you bugeyes had Braxley as a Heisman candidate 3 weeks ago. Guiton for Heisman!

Meh, gotta roll with the punches. 100% of us Bugeyes didn't know what we had in Guiton. If Fickell knew it in 2011 we'd of won more than 6 games.
That's the Spirit! Later,poker time.

I am very confident that the Badgers win this if Stave doesn't become a TO machine which he's very capable of. Our biggest weakness on the team is QB as he locks onto WR's, has a slow and low release and horrible accuracy with limited mobility. Honestly, I would start the Freshman QB over him in a heartbeat.
Badgers defense has drastically improved under the new aggressive 3-4 scheme. The DB's are young but have excellent coverage and the only way you can make a throw on them is a back shoulder throw which ASU does better than majority of teams.
I believe this will be a low scoring game early then in the second half the Badgers should pull away a little if Stave doesn't choke.
Badgers 38 OSU 21
Uh, we got it.And for the Wisconsin fans -- I put "beat" in parenthesis so you don't have to respond with any talk about the refs.
I really don't think this game will be close.
tOSU wins by 10+ and it doesn't matter who is qb. Sox could get behind center for this one and my prediction would still come true.
Don't believe me? Ask Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer.
He makes it clear that the Badgers caused the most problems for the Big Ten's top scoring offense and the league's top offensive player. Wisconsin held Miller to a season-low 97 pass yards, only 48 rush yards on 23 carries, zero touchdowns and a QBR of 39.5. Ohio State recorded only 15 first downs, 236 yards and 21 points against the Badgers, well below its season averages (21.4 first downs, 423.8 yards per game, 37.2 points per game).
The Buckeyes survived 21-14 in overtime, thanks mostly to their own defense.
"Obviously," Meyer said Monday, "they shut us down pretty good last year."
All the Stave hate is a little ridiculous. He's far and away the best option UW has, and much more dynamic a passer than Phillips was last year. He's only a RS SO with less than a full year of starts, but is still over making 60% completions. There's room for improvement, yeah, but it's tough making plays at QB when you have 1 WR who can get open and catch the ball consistently.
It's worth remembering that Wisconsin's defense didn't do that bad against Ohio State last season:

Obviously last year was at home, but it was another game where Wisconsin outperformed Ohio State statistically but lost because of an OSU punt return for a TD:

In fact if other teams are looking for tips on how to play D against Ohio State, they could do worse than look at film of the Wisconsin game last year. Problem was we had Curt Phillips at QB and no credible passing thread. I think Stave has his issues but he's a much better downfield threat than Phillips, as long as he doesn't turn the ball over.
Last year Montee Ball carried it 39 times (!) and averaged 4.9 YPC, which isn't bad at all. Now we have two guys sharing carries to lighten the load.
32-30.
...and I don't remember saying Sox could qb ASU to victory.
You said we'd get blown out, no?
You're useless picking games.
