If you would rather beat Memphis than make the CFP only to lose a close game to the reigning national champs, it says a lot about your program.

I'll take the opportunity to win the championship, even if the team I root for loses, every time. Last year, OSU didn't make the invitational, went to the Rose Bowl and beat USC.

I would have rather lost to Clemson or Alabama trying to win it all.

I don’t think I ever said that Michigan had the talent to be in that game. OSU definitely did have the talent, and it was nice to see them lose. I imagine it won’t be the only B10 bowl season loss, but it was definitely nice that it was the first one.

I hope the refs got paid. Most people don’t work for free. I am fairly sure all the refs in this current bowl season likely got paid to ref the games.

I will say from a 3rd party perspective, that was a great game last night.

Yes it was. A lot of future NFL talent on that field last night. Hard hitting, physical, both teams playing at an extremely high level. The respect both teams had for each other after that one was telling.

Day got the better of Dabo in the 1st half, Dabo and staff made adjustments and made some great calls in the 2nd half and definitely down the stretch. Just a great football game with two very very good teams.
