I don't want that whiny quitter from WSU. This is the NFL. If you can't handle the heat in college there is no place for you here. That kid is poison.

Every year we have questioned the seahawks draft picks at the time and every year we are surprised at what PC does with them and how well some we hated turned out. I wish they would have picked up a LB or even another guard, but we will see how the two early rounders pan out.

But most of the time those questions were right.

None of us on CBS liked the following picks:
James Carpenter: Safe to say this was a horrible pick.
John Moffitt: We reached for him and he has been mediocre at best.
Kris Durham: Oh boy this pick made me lose my mind. There were some who tried to defend this pick but this one made me really go nuts and it turned out to be a bad pick.
Bruce Irvin: You can make the case it was not a bad pick but I still don't like it. Last year he looked lost in run defense and in his start against Atlanta he didn't get any pressure at all. He's still very raw.
E.J. Wilson: Not many of us liked this pick and I have no idea where he is now.

The Seahawks have completely busted on some picks and a lot of picks that were highly criticized were rightly so.

I don't care about what happened at WSU I care about his talent and he does have a lot of potential.

But I saw many question picks that turned out good for the team as well. I'm not suggesting every pick they have had was great, but I've seen enough of them over the last few years to at least give some time before I write off their picks.

Tate had talent and potential too. How'd that work out? Most kids coming out of college in the draft have talent. You have to have more than that to make it at that level and what I saw out of him last year told me he is toxic. Wouldn't want him on my team under any circumstance.

Seahawks have two straight picks. I think they must have traded up because I don't recall seeing that.

I don't know if I will ever hear ho they pick because they're too busy blowing Johnny Manlet.

Jesse Williams great pick I really love that pick. He slipped a bit but he's a great player and I believe at one point had a 2nd round grade. Terrific pick, I like this a lot. Best pick they have made so far. I think he's a better player than Jordan Hill personally.

Most of the "question picks" were not that questionable.

A lot of us liked Richard Sherman (Had no idea he'd be as great as he did)

And Kam Chancellor was a pick a lot of us liked. One of the picks I didn't like at first who really won me over was Robert Turbin, reason I didn't like the pick was because I thought Chris Polk was better. Little did I know just about every team dropped him from their draft board because of his injury.

Looks like the next pick was a CB.

They've hit more homeruns with their picks than they've busted on. Every team, even a great one, is gonna have draft picks that make you scratch your head. I think Schneider and Carroll have hit big enough times in their four drafts that they can be given the benefit of the doubt. They're not gonna hit on all of them, but they're gonna hit on most and when they do hit, it's usually a homerun. Besides, we still have a lot of picks to make.

Jesse Williams and Simon Tharold. Both are solid picks. I like picking a CB because although Walter Thurmond has been a good player he has been injured quite frequently. Not to mention the fact that Winfield is just on a one year contract.

Jesse Williams I like a lot. He's a huge guy who could be a perfect replacement for Alan Branch.

to get williams we traded the picks we got from baltimore in the second round trade. so basically we got michael and williams for baltimore's OLB.

So far I think that Jesse Williams is the Seahawks best pick.

He played at DE and NT for the Crimson Tide. Could be a future replacement for Red Bryant.

I don't see Wilson the same way. I see more blame going to Leach than to Wilson. The guy is a bastard and right now the sooner he's fired the better. What no one else is saying is that 6 other players quit that week and nearly one third of the team walked out. He targeted Wilson the first day he was there and never stopped laying the verbal abuse until he finally quit.

I never thought I would ever want Pail Wulff back.

Just wait and see, you never know what's planned by these super-geniuses in our general management. This could be part of the blueprint to the special teams juggernaut JS/PC are scheming. They always get a big "WTF" when they draft. Lets see how this unfolds before we pass any judgement. IN JS/PC WE TRUST! :first:

I understand what several coug fans believe about Wilson and how they feel about Leach. My disdain for Wilson has nothing to do with being a Husky. I liked having Trufant and love having Unger despite him coming from a team I hate. When it comes to the Seahawks I want the best players to make the team better no matter where they come from.

But in my opinion not being able to take that adversity and do something positive with it makes me question his ability to take the pressure of the NFL. I stand by my view of him and am willing to eat those words if someone picks him up and he does well. I just don't think that day will come.
