Alof of rhetoric by JD and Ranger free agents. What do we know now. We picked up Lucroy option immediately. Dutch not so fast. If we keep Beltran Des and Gomez, then a logjam exists between OF and DH. Have to think Choo covers a lot of DH plattooning to create Half days off at DH.

Have to think we do the QO on Des but unless he signs a team friendsly contract prob gone. Profar could easily be involved in a trade but a lot of options for him despite named winning piece. Gonna be interesting how roster shakes out

I think Beltran goes. If Ian stays, he plays LF Gomez CF Maz/Choo RF with Choo DH'ing

Profar continues to be the mystery piece. Do we trade him? UIF again? The guy needs a position and not log bench time. I thought maybe Adrian might move to 1B since we really need one and Profar plays third. Would they ask Adrian to do that? Would he agree? I don't think Adrian would want any part of that. Maybe in the last year of his contract he might be approachable about it.

I would like to see an outfield of Odor in LF and Mazara is RF with either Desmond or Gomez signed to play CF. I wonder if they talk Mitch into a one year deal to bide some time waiting on Gallo. I would rather sign Beltran to DH and move on from Choo or bench Choo.

I think we trade for a pitcher and bring back Derek for a year. He would only cost an additional $9.5 million.

Apparently Matt Moore was the Rays pitcher to deal for at the deadline, he's pitched well tonight and has 10 K's while only giving up 2 runs through 8 innings
