F the Houston Astros
Read that earlier, sad deal considering he had a child on the way. Poor choices led to his untimely death, very unfortunate for the unborn child and mother
OK.....how many of ya had the Indians ahead 3-1? I know I didn't.
Go ahead and close it out tonight and let the Windy City moaning start. Or is that continue?
And maybe it's just me, but when the Cubs won the NL pennant I swear the feel/aura felt very much like the Rangers in 2010 after we finally got there PLUS beat the Yankees in the process.
I tried to tell Nightcrawler we didnt want any part of facing a HOT Indians team with their pitching looking good down the stretch
Honestly Murph. Do you think the way we were pitching/hitting we could have beaten any team in the playoffs?
ZERO CHANCE
One year 8 million with an option for a second for 10 million. The Texas Rangers are interested in re-signing outfielder Carlos Gomez, according to Jon Heyman of Today's Knuckleball.
Gomez was released by the Houston Astros in August after a bleak start to the 2016 season. He signed a minor league contract with the Rangers shortly thereafter and was promoted to the major leagues on Aug. 25. With the Astros, Gomez batted .210 with only five home runs in 85 games.
His numbers in Texas were much better: a .284 average and eight home runs in 33 games.
With Ian Desmond about to become a free agent, the Rangers have indicated that finding a center fielder will be a priority for them this offseason. Gomez served mainly as a corner outfielder in his time with Texas, but the majority of his career has been spent as a center fielder, including a Gold Glove at the position in 2013.

Thanks for this post Bennie
Don't think Chi Chi is much of an option. He can't get minor leaguers out.
