One might suppose it was the presence of rigidly indignant, threatening bullies like you, whining like a little bitch when someone says something that gets your panties in a bunch, that played a role in ESPN dumping the whole lot of you.

Brass tacks here, sport: If you can truthfully state, from your heart, that you believe that public use of a word like REDSKINS (in whatever context) has no racist, ethnic undertones? fine. expedite on.

You must be 15 yrs old or a complete idiot. You obviously have also not read my replies on this subject. I have stated numerous times that if they want to change the name so be it. However - I take issue with all these media types who came out of the woodwork recently to discuss this issue non-stop. Where were these same people 10 years ago? 5 years ago? 1 year ago?

And no - I have never viewed this word as racist - perhaps I was being naive, but I have never felt malice in use of this word. I have also seen or heard very few Native Americans taking issue with this until very recently. Not sure what your ulterior motive is, but you can certainly present it in a much more civil tone. Go listen to the clip I posted from Jim Florentine to get some real insight on this issue. If people are so concerned about Native Americans how about helping them out instead of worrying so much about a name - that would help them out much more.

Oh well - who cares - say whatever you want & use whatever stupid language you choose & by all means please display a certain amt of prejudice by claiming that you know all about me & everyone else here (& in the process acting in the same manner as the people you supposedly don't like).

I hope that someday your brain evolves past the point of a teenager starting puberty. Doubt it.

I agree the team name has ethnic undertones, similar to the Vikings or Fighting Irish. Where we disagree is the intent to be racist.

The post below articulates the importance of context and intent in this dabate.

Malco, I do not understand why you feel you need to take posts, and "line for line" refute anything that applies to an OPINION that does not agree with YOUR assessment of something. It's quite exhausting. And it gets annoying to see this over and over.

Grow a thicker skin please. You make some good football points but this continuous posting regarding other fans opinions, on OUR board, gets very tiresome.

Side note, I notice you rarely post on the Eagles board. Seems primarily here or on the Boys forum. I know the Eagles board is not as busy but it does seem curious to me.

Im just clearly trying to respond to what they said because people play the forget game all the time. I like how its fine for people to say something against my point, but if I respond to their point its exhausting.

The only thing I went on and on about Cali is how utterly ridiculous Shenanigans is. He still cant even say the Eagles have a good offense but that is the only time Ive been redundant on here. I have about 5 posts total on the Redskins board outside of this thread and the one ridiculous one by Shenanigans.

I NEVER post on the Eagle board. Im not allowed to mention other website here but the Eagles official site has a killer board with thousands of active posters. Thats where I talk Eagles.

And I apologize if my rant against Shenanigans bothered you. I can understand that one but the nimrod still says the Eagles dont have a good offense even though they are 2nd in the NFL, have the #1 RB and the #1 WR in the NFL not to mention they are only the 3rd team in the history of the NFL to have 6 straight games over 400 yards. But he will still swear up and down the Eagles offense sucks. Ill drop it Cali!

First let's define native. Which one do you want? 1) Native as in "born in." 2) Native as in "having always been here without migration."

If you want the first one, I am native because I was born in the USA, just like my every ancestor since the early 1700s.

If you want the second one, there is no "human being" that is native to the USA. The Indians migrated here.

Now that we got that straight. I'm an American and let's see how the USA came to be.

1) The original 13 states were taken through Revolution from England (Treaty of Paris in 1783), not the Indians.
2) The US purchased land from the states that formed many other states.
3) The Louisiana Purchase was made from France.
4) Treaty of 1818 was with England and gave us Washington and Oregon.
5) Florida was purchased from Spain in the Adams-Onis Treaty.
6) Texas declared it's independence from Mexico and later joined the USA.
7) California was also taken from Mexico by Treaty.
8) We purchased Alaska from Russia.
9) Hawaii was annexed, organized, and later became a state.

So where did we take anything from the Indians? The Indians were not a nation. They were unorganized tribes and warred with each other.

Really Dude? Is that how you see it? Just a bunch of tribes warring with each other? How the Hell is that any different than where we are today? Land was ''purchased''. Slaves were ''purchased''. Doesn't matter though, the good guys won in the end, right?

The difference is nobody uses "Redskin" to refer to a person unless it is team related.

WTH are you talking about? How did you go slave over this? I know your next statement..."I just don't understand because I'm a racist."

We purchased the land from the governments that owned the land.

It doesn't surprise me that you think that way. Doesn't matter, within a few years, the name is gonna change, and there's nothing you can do about it. Mark the tape Bud

Way to explain your stance. You are obviously a liberal. You think the louder you speak makes you correct. You know nothing about facts and you think hiding words will make the world a better place.

Louder? LOL, is it loud? The name is gonna change. It may take a few years, but it's gonna happen. It's the way of the world today. Riley Cooper said the most despicable word there is, and was caught on tape. It was a terrible thing to say. That said, how in Hell was it the lead story on SportsCenter for two weeks running? In todays world of political correctness, once Disney sets their sights on ya, it's simply a matter of time

I agree that it will eventually change but it shouldn't.

As for Riley Cooper saying that word...almost every black person in the NFL, in college, and in HS uses that word. I'm not excusing Cooper because of the venue he said it; however, it is very hypocritical to crucify one for saying it but cheer another.
