Well what I am looking forward to is to see how some of these young guys compete and make a name of themselves hopefully someone will breakout this season and have solid numbers. We had the oldest lineup last year in all of baseball I would like to see a young guy make a name for himself.

Never know maybe JP Crawford and Domingo Santana might play well and show us something

i would be even more optomistic....if....somehow...the mariners could trade
k.c for josh staumont....RHP AZUZA PACIFiC....AAA..99MPH

then sign free agent pomerance L/L

I had a teacher who played football at Azusa Pacific.

Same here... I’ll definitely follow to see the progress but it’s difficult to name any specific names since they might not be on the roster anymore tomorrow.

I don’t see the Mariners even remotely being bad enough to be in the running for number 1 pick. The offense really isn’t that bad on paper. The staff probably won’t be very good but they play 81 games at Safeco/T-Mobile Park. Even with a terrible staff this offense and defensive improvement to me is a 75 win team.

This is the oddest “tear down in history” Kind of like the past 15 or so years. Not good enough for a division title but really not bad enough to get the first pick unless everything falls apart like the two years they got Ackley and Zunino and this team isn’t anywhere near as bad as those two teams.

with an encarnacion trade...
the mariners would be ready
to sign

a few free agents
an mlb ss
relief at AAA..the most notable

Well to me there are some names that I think the team is looking to trade like a jay bruce and Edwin encarnacion and maybe mike leake

As far as prospects competing in spring training and making the rotation there is of course Justus Sheffield, maybe Justin Dunn, and Erik Swanson.

As far as the lineup there isn't anyone I can see coming form our farm system. I wish Kyle Lewis had not have had those serious injuries or this might have been the year he gets called up. Evan White needs a full season at AA
