I’m confused, is Jerry literally serious with the two way thing? Not just a half ass troll job since he struck out on Ohtani last offseason.

Guess @seahawksfan234 was right about how Jerry could make them worse than the 75-80 win offense he has put together so far, just let utility players round out the rotation.

on the phili deal
they did not need to get there top prospects..but players like irvin or leftwich would have done well

That’s how this off season has gone though and why having a trade addict making trades is dumb. It seems they have trades set then the Mets and Phillies lowered it and instead of Jerry saying fudge it I’ll look somewhere else or not budge he just signs off on it. He needs to quit blowing his wad so early because when other GM’s know he will just go with whatever they offer then he has zero leverage. Off season obviously isn’t over but it is just stunning that Jerry says he is shooting for 2021 and has made so many deals but realistically has gotten one good prospect and Smith. I haven’t looked at the updated farm system rankings but in all these deals made I really can’t see how they have made the farm system better to where it shows they don’t have a shit show farm system.

with voggy still on the roster

also with bruce on the roster
it could make gamel look good
to a team like san diego
if a trade for cordero was the
target
along with leake for maybe nix
or something like that

then you could see where they
are going

luke leftwich RHP AA middle releif/ spot start..would have been AAA this year
would have been the right compensation

About Seattle's new hockey team, I obviously don't expect Vegas like success right away. Expansion teams normally kinda suck for a while. Though it would be awesome.

So my question for you guys is which team reaches the playoffs first? The Mariners or the new NHL team.

Not sure this is a hard question at all. Putting the Mariners ineptitude aside, making the playoffs in the NHL isnt exactly hard. Regardless probably an easy question either way

No reason to be concerned about who is the ace right now. Its not relevant for a few years.

I'd rather them not have the younger guys start the season in the rotation. Maybe Swanson but not the other 2.

Felix, Marco, Leblanc and just sign some filler guys for the backend.

yeah ..i see how you are looking
at it and have to agree

but any trades of pitchers also
go by their numbers

and if it does not matter then
they may as well get a few free
agents for the rotation as well as the bull pen
that need a rebound season

so i guess you are right
