Really dude?! The fact that he came back and won that KC game doesn't impress the hell out of you? Tough crowd man, lol.

The fact that he took a 2 win team to back-to-back 10+ win seasons and already has a playoff victory in just his second year is damn impressive, too, imo. The guy is just a gamer, he wins games. He's the next great NFL QB in my opinion for sure.

How in the world can you be 100% behind a guy who has never been an offensive coordinator in the NFL and has only been an offensive coordinator once in the past decade and it was at the University of Virginia?

A.) He just coached Nick Foles from relative obscurity to one of the (statistically) greatest seasons an NFL QB has ever produced.

B.) He just spent a year learning Chip Kelly's highly effective offense first-hand.

C.) I've seen what Jim Caldwell does when he's in charge of an offense, and it's not impressive.


I'm not saying that he would have been my first choice (I would have preferred Ben McAdoo) but I like his recent background and certainly prefer him calling the plays to Caldwell calling the plays.

If the Lions needed an experience coach why are they settling for two first time Coordinators?

Can't spin this any other way, Mayhew had no plan B. So we end up with the O-Coordinator of the 29th ranked offense. I have heard he got a two year deal. 2 years is a very short contract makes you wonder why if that is the length.
