With so many teams having multiple first round picks, I really think a couple draft and stash players will be selected in the late 1st round. Makes some of the college guys slip further than they probably should. Also, this is a good draft in terms of getting good value in the 2nd round.

Yeah, there's going to be a lot of quality players around at the beginning of the 2nd Round. I might imagine some teams trying to move up to purchase some of the late 1st picks if they see guys slipping. Those early 2nd round picks will be much more valuable than the late 1st round picks because of the rookie scale contracts.

i wouldnt mind Paige for the Bulls. nice combo guard who can play PG or SG and can shoot the deep ball. needs to get stronger.

I don't see him projected as being drafted on NBADraft.net or DraftExpress? He's a late second rounder at best by these projections.

Mccaw, Levert, Bentil, Cat Barber, Payton 2, Bolomboy, Qi, Stone, Ulis, Zimmerman might all be available in the 2nd round.

He's an easier fit. Walton is bringing in a new system that will have at least aspects of the Warriors uptempo offense. With Simmons not being able to space the floor, his best fit may be at PF, which is where Randle fits as well. I think the Lakers take Simmons if the Sixers flake out and change their mind to pick Ingram, but they would likely have to make another move with Randle (or hope Simmons is a quick learner with his jumper).

I would take him with my late pick if I were the Celtics or Suns.

7 footers with 3 pt range and good handles don't grow on trees.

THAT part's true enough...

still imo this kid's gonna be a project. WILL be interesting to see who takes a flyer on him, though...

Alot hinges on what the Celtics do at #3 IMO. There is a scenario he slips there IMO.
I've been thinking the Wolves would draft him, but I haven't read too much about the draft recently and who teams might be interested in.

I mean I understand, but Simmons is the pick between the two. Randle be damned lol.

Simmons is a better AHTLETE with a little more size. Ingram(as has already been documented) is more NBA ready. difference between the 2 isn't as big as you might think...

edit: Julius Randle is kinda short for a PF, but the kid's aggressive, works hard, and plays with a chip on his shoulder. if I'M running things this kid stays...

He needs to go on a 20,000 calorie per day diet, just like Porzingis, Brandon Ingram.

But, he looks like KG when he came out of High School.

He is super fast and agile, can block shots and has a nice stroke.

But, he could totally be a bust. So, you are right....lol

Well he's got a lot more size. Ingram has no body at all. I think Simmons has more upside personally. Imo he'll end up being a better scorer than Ingram, he's just got more weapons in his aresenal. He's gonna be a beast on the boards too.

So was Jermaine O'Neal.

But, for every Garnett...there are 10's of Thabeet's, Jan Vessely's.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Maker is gonna go much higher than expected.

Top 15.
