A lot of the mocks are thinking Sabonis if he's available. I didn't see the Zags play much last year, but I've seen a bunch of highlights. He looks pretty good, probably would be the best player Available if he made it that far. He'd probably be a starter if Gasol and Noah are both gone, so he could impact right away. Id be happy with that pick, like I said I don't know much about him, but his pedigree is obviously a good one.

From what I've seen of him, he's a reliable worker but nothing flashy. He's very dominant hand only.

The two main sites I look at, NBADraft.net and DraftExpress, have the Bulls taking Wade Baldwin or Timothe Luwawu.

With Rondo being unknown at this point, would you take a guy like Dunn if he's still on board? Also are you sold on WCS or would another PF like Ellenson or a C like Poeltl be something you think the Kings would consider?
Dunn would be a no doubter if he was available. The only PG on their roster(Collison) got arrested recently so they need one no matter how that situation plays out. I'm sold on WCS next to Cousins as a Tyson Chandler type of player who finishes at the rim and blocks a lot of shots, but with room to grow on both sides. If they trade DeMarcus at some point then they'll need a PF/C to go with Willie, but I don't think Cousins gets traded this off season so a possible replacement isn't needed right now. I'm not sure what to expect from the Kings, I just hope they make a good decision.

I could see them getting Jamal Murray, but I'm not sure if he's an NBA PG necessarily. I think Dunn could be already gone, but those are the two PGs to target at that pick.

Murray is 2nd on my list of who I want the Kings to draft behind Dunn, with Hield being 3rd. They could use help at PG and SG, and he'd be able to play some of both. He's also probably the better pure shooter while Dunn is better on defense and more of a true PG. I'm expecting them to both be taken before the Kings pick though.

The nuggets need a shooting guard but all the mock drafts i am seeing have them grab a pf with their seven pick which makes no sense with the backlog we have in the front court even if we trade faried like i have been hoping for since last year

#32: hoping one of these guys is available (NBADraftNet and DraftExpress mock #s):
Damian Jones (just had surgery) (#23, #28)
Patrick McCaw (#37, #41)
Thon Maker (intriguing, but a project) (#22, #36)
Brice Johnson (#25, #30)
Stephen Zimmerman (#28, #43)
Malik Beasley (#17, #26)
Tyler Ulis (#45, #33)

It's amazing how much fluctuation there is between these two sites.

i'll CERTAINLY give you that Thon Maker's interesting, but i'm not too sure(OR confident) how his game's gonna translate into the NBA...

He came on at the end of the year. Nice tough player. I dont know if would be able to be a starter right away but he might have to. If we draft him i wouldnt mind signing Noah to a 2 year deal to groom him.

Read somewhere that the Grizzlies have strong interest in Malachi Richardson. I remember reading that they asked him to shut down other workouts. Saw his name floated in mid to late 1st round, but I saw another mock (not sure about legitimacy) having him in the early second round.

I hope they pick him.

That gives us a better chance of getting Prince or Bembry.

If both are gone, I hope the Clippers take Mccaw....unless Valentine's injury makes him tumble to #25.

Philly taking Simmons. I think we all knew that. No way they would take another big 4 years in a row.

Straight to D-League kinda guy. But still young enough to be an interesting project

Maker is definitely a project, but he has the physical tools to develop. He'd be a nice pick in the late 1st round by a team with multiple picks like the Celtics, Suns or Nuggets.

Maker will need at least 2 years of just pure development of basketball skills before even considering him for a real roster spot. I'd definitely take a flier on him late in the 1st.

If Phoenix keeps their late pick, I think lands there.

I like this, since it has Jones, McCaw, Brice, Ulis, and Zimmerman likely available at #32. Lots to pick from!

With so many teams having multiple first round picks, I really think a couple draft and stash players will be selected in the late 1st round. Makes some of the college guys slip further than they probably should. Also, this is a good draft in terms of getting good value in the 2nd round.
