Don't lose hope. We get Harry back in May. Lewis sooner than that. Really don't know how much production we were going to get out of Profar. And Choice is a Godsend. And look at A's rotation now.

The A's have plenty of young arms. They'll be fine. I won't lose hope. It's just tough right now.

We would only need him the time Profar is gone.

He'd be a decent utility option of wash would use him that way. Provided he didn't take at bats away from Kouzmanoff.

Wish we had plenty of young arms.

How exactly do you think we're getting past the absence of Holland, Harry, abd Lewis? What do you call Perez, Scheppers, Ross, and Tepesch?

I was referring more to our minor league than who we have already here to call up. It seems the A's, Rays and the Cards the cream of the crop for young pitching talent. But excuse me if I'm wrong.

I have a feeling the A's might be getting a little thin on premium major league ready pitching prospects.

Seriously, should we consider calling Michael Young? We could bury him at 8th in the order.

MY doesn't seem like the type to waver over a decision. He has announced his retirement already. Hard to see him taking that back- just doesn't seem like his style. Not to mention to do think he would come back knowing he would be cut or benched the moment Profar got back?

Really sucks we lost Profar though... I had him pegged to break out this season. I like the idea of giving Odor a shot but I doubt that happens. I don't think losing Profar is going to hurt us all that much. To me the way the rotation shapes up has much more of an impact. Why not throw Choice out there at 2nd and make him play everyday? j/k

If Soto is hurt- I like what we have seen out of Honey Nut Chiros (credit Rev). So that situation could work itself out.

I don't have a problem with it because MY has had his eyes opened in realizing he was not going to get to start for the Dodgers and the Phillies traded him. So it would not be as it was before he left in him feeling like he should be a main player on the field. His clubhouse presence could be very helpful. I would not expect to see the MY of a few years ago but his experience woud also be helpful.

How does having Morales sound right about now? I knew we should've signed him

Don't really see that it would've changed things. Would Morales take over second base for profar? Not sure I wouldn't rather have choice than Morales in the lineup anyways.

I don't see where he fills our need. I will take Choice and if anyone else in the OF goes down add Adduci. Our need would be mif.

How does Morales help with the injury at 2B? Choice will probably be the opening day DH. He deserves it. I wanted Morales too, but I'm not giving up a pick for him at this point.
