For what it's worth (i.e. nothing), I don't think Lamoriello will trade Brodeur unless he gets a 1st rd pick in return, which is unlikely.

Not a rumor, an opinion there...but if Louie Lams wants a first he's going to be vastly disappointed. Trading for a name not a talent who will start like 5 games in the stretch run maybe.

Really? He's not that good, he's small, had inflated stats with TB and Stammer/MSL. How they were able to get Bishop from them is beyond me. Highway robbery for a franchise goalie.

Hearing Rangers have a lot of interest in Kesler and may start with Stepan + 1st and not sure what prospect. Saying they have just as good a chance as Philly.

12:16PM: Teams knew that the Rangers were going to sign Dan Girardi when the Rangers stopped talking about him. The Rangers were still talking about Callahan as of Yesterday. (CBC)
When the Oilers traded Ryan Smyth they couldn’t bridge a gap of $100,000. (CBC)

Rangers and Callahan are off by 500,000, which gives reason to believe he will be dealt.
