How ? T is a one year rental who hasn’t signed his tag yet making it impossible to trade . There is no sign and trade in the NFL by CBA agreement. That is a myth . The 49ers wasted a 3rd round pick trading for Chase who played half the year and failed to win a superbowl. Trading for a WR (barring injury of course ) is a waste of resources at this time . We are not a contender with T on the roster or any other wr available in trade . Now to be fair the bears win their gambit with sweat . Right now we don’t know what we have at wr. Or many other positions . Let the staff evaluate what they have on the roster this year and implement their system before we go George Allen on our teamAgreed!
This is why I didn't mention his name. Bringing up this stuff gets us into the complications surrounding his situation but I assure you you're wrong about him being a one-year rental, how an actual sign and trade works in the NFL, and well within the rules of the CBA. Btw; I'm not commenting on whether or not Washington will contend for a playoff spot with or without him until we formally do our predictions and forecasts for the upcoming season. How ? I don’t disagree about terry but I know sign and trades aren’t apart of the nflThis is why I didn't mention his name. One other thing, Terry is better suited as a WR2, if he remains their top receiver then we know what they have and don't have positionally.
