Heard Al Galdi's pod this morning. Had on a 49ers beat writer.

Deebo with the ball in his hands is great and gives 110%

Deebo without the ball in his hands jogs through his routes and doesn't give much effort.

Reminded us of the fact that he got into a sideline altercation with his kicker and long snapper in a win.

Complains about touches during wins and is probably 15 to 20lbs over weight.

Did say when in shape is a weapon.

It is always fun to watch everyone's ideas of what the team will do this off-season.

AP talked about the team today and although he keeps things close to the vest he gives a little.

We all know that he signed a lot of guys to one year deals. As he mentioned they only have 28 guys right now. I believe there are a bunch of guys he will bring back on one or two year deals. A few may bet longer deals. JMO but I don't see a Garrett or Higgins in the future. No shock about Jon Allen. Payne will go next year. I expect this off season will be much like last off season. Mid prized guys, others who aren't seen as big name players. I think DQ can help raid Dallas for a player or two since he has only been gone a year.

DQ has types of players he likes and I think AP will look for guys like that. I think the draft will be for skill value over position. You have to have players .... wherever their position might be ... otherwise you will be reaching.

The team was so much fun last year such a big surprise. To be honest the team got lucky a lot. Nabors dropping a game winning pass, Mariota helped get two of the wins playing great football when he played, the hail Mary, Smith dropping a pass that in part caused the Eagles to lose. Jalen getting hurt made a big difference too. All of those things are not likely to happen again. It sure was nice watching the ball bounce our way for a change.
