Myles really wanted to end his career in Cleveland, they are the problem, not him! Frankly, I'm surprised that more player in difficult situations aren't voicing their displeasure. To me here is the Commanders' competition for his services. Minnesota, Philadelphia, and perhaps Detroit. I'm reluctant to include the AFC teams because I don't think Cleveland will trade him within the conference, especially to teams that are contenders. (AFC North, Buffalo, Denver, Houston, Chargers)
Yeah, I don't see AFC either. Guys with as much clout and standing as Myles usually get what they want. Cleveland has to present a hardball front in order to get what they want.

Sheesh, i didn't think about it, but the eagles could be in play too. Thats infinity gauntlet level. It almost seems like we need to build a team to stop the eagles. Anyone know any key players they could lose this year?
Below is a full list of the Eagles' pending free agents, per Spotrac.com. Players are unrestricted free agents unless otherwise noted.

Roseman may have gotten the better of Adam, getting in front of us and taking DeJean. Peters got his lick back getting a 3rd for Dotson. This is going to be fun.

He's worth it!
is he ? if you win the superbowl this year its a failure i dont want to go all in on one guy and lose the cap space and the draft resources for a guy who will solve a portion of our problems . god forbid if garret gets hurt then where are you ? we had 4 yrs of crappy drafts under RR and our roster needs severe improvement . again for me it depends on the package.

Bruce?? Bruce Allen!! Is that you?? Man it's been a long time! How ya been man? Still saving those resources and cap space for the future that never came? Yeah, yeah, I know, good times.

[Sorry about that]

Seriously, do you or do you not believe that Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles are very serious threats to anything Washington can do by holding on and waiting? This team had two years to get to the top and the clock is ticking! Yes, I know that they CAN still win after paying the QB, but that's more difficult and the window is wide open now to get it done.
Holding on to draft pick translates into time delay until you can use them in a draft. Player get injured, that's a fact, but where are you without a player like him?

I think you have to go all out now that we have a QB on a rookie salary you can't build teams fast enough with just draft picks

Had 3.5 more sacks than Garrett.
I think Garrett is a much better player and demands more attention, but EDGE is a must imo.

Sweat
Lawrence
Garrett
Hendrickson
Draft

It's jumped to #1 on my off-season to do list.

If Cleveland wants ammunition to trade up in 2026, how about our first and second in 2026? I’m sure it will take a little more.

Garrett obviously wants to be here. We have a need at edge. Having an elite QB on a rookie deal is found money in today NFL. It's the one unique situation where you go for it. Two #1s, Payne, and Coleman is kinda steep though. I'd still probably do it.

Making trades that eat up cap space and take up draft resources is not good business . D see signing garret doesn’t stop Barkley for going for 60 on us through the middle. He doesn’t cover Brown or Smith . He doesn’t block Carter .

Yes he solves edge pass rush but it hamstrings you in addressing other needs

Again if you give up a 2026 1st and a 2nd then maybe it’s ok but that isn’t going to be the price

He actually does help stop the passing game.
Too many times, if we were just a second faster, the play would have been a sack or pick.
Not saying we are doomed without him, but if we don't get completely cleaned out, you get him and win the superbowl within 2 years.
Higgins and Garrett gets us to the superbowl.
Can't call win or lose, but they get us there
