In b4 baseball is dead to me......
I hope you're wrong on that....I actually do think we'll be okay and win the division.Braves just won't cool off. And it appears they have a slightly easier schedule down the stretch. Mets are just going to have to match them, and win the remaining head to head games.
To answer your question, yes, we probably will shit the lead away. It's what we do.
Good to know...my own assessment of the schedules led me to conclude that the Braves had the easier one. If anything, this confirms what I thought, the Mets just have to match them win-for-win because there isn't much wiggle roomWell we have to win these games but fingers crossed:
Oh I hear ya, I could really do without the drama of a tight division raceI hope you're wrong on that....I actually do think we'll be okay and win the division.
Just wish they wouldn't make it so stressful or more interesting than it needs to be.
Meh...can't waste time worrying about that.Pirates' comeback effort falls short, 14-2
Joey Lucchesi, rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, tossed two scoreless innings in his second rehab start with Single-A St. Lucie. He threw 14 pitches, 10 for strikes and five of them were churves.
Mets third baseman Eduardo Escobar began his rehab assignment last night with Single-A Brooklyn. Escobar went 2-for-4 with an RBI. He played seven innings at shortstop, making all four plays hit to him, including starting two 6-4-3 double plays.
I love the drama. This Mets team has no quit in them. On to the third Rockies game, at least I have almost 21 hours to decompress. What did I say the other night about not needing any more drama?!
