So you want eb to be both the oc and the HC?…. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Not fair to EB.

i,ve got enough patience to wait to season,s end for a hopeful total house cleaning of coaches and front office.

I wouldnt be surprised if there was a complete teardown. Its hard to say “we’re a few players away,” after the mind boggling ways the team has lost this year, in year four of RR’s tenure.

Its hard to see anybody as “the face of the next great washington football team.”

Its too bad bc obviously TM, JA, and to some extent Daron Payne have talent. So does Kurl.

But if mediocrity is best case scenario for next year, then Cap Health should be the first priority, not contract extensions.

Howell is the only interesting consideration, from my perspective.

He clearly can play in the NFL, and is better than at least 1/3rd of the current starting qb’s in the league. That’s not really debateable.

What is debatable is if he is at or approaching his ceiling right now. Who can really know considering he has the nfl’s
worst offensive line blocking for him.

I’d definitely keep him and upgrade the oline, while fixing absolutely everything else about the team and see what we have.

Of those that you've listed, I'd keep Curl long-term and Howell for the 2024 season. Nobody's safe beyond that.

Can't have an off-season like the one we just had.

Stromberg and Daniels couldn't get on the field.
Forbes and Quan have certainly struggled.

Biggest off-season around here in a long, long time.

Last year with Harris here the defense was very good, but even under Harris the defense was terrible until Curl came back. Imho Curl is the guy you don't appreciate until he's not in the lineup.

If he asks for crazy money that might give me pause because the turnovers aren't there. They play him up so much its hard to hold that against him though.

I like Forrest, but this team needs a stud FS.

OK, but let's not forget how poorly this team performed last year without him when it was a top defense!
