i don't think it is that crucial for long term goals, but you would like to see them compete in all 3. if they win 2 or more, you start to see the flyers climb into the top 5 in the league by the end of the week.

I just hope if we're sellers Homer asks guys to move their NTC's and full investigates all options and doesn't go out and pull a bonehead move trading a young asset for an old over the hil player hoping for a miracle turn around to the season.

This is one fucked up inconsistent Flyer team. Can't even do a proper line change throughout the game. Any kind of breakaway and you know Bryzy won't save it. Grossman injured, next game against Pitt who will want revenge. Brutal opponents ahead. Not good.

I dont know about packing it in if we get 2 points here there is still a half season to go but i would love to have the 4 points we desperately need.

We just have to start competing on the road. I mean 4-9 is absolutely unacceptable. It's too early to be talking about packing it in, even if we fail to win the next couple games. I find it very hard to believe we won't at least be competitive in them.

There are still 10 games remaining combined against the Devils, Rangers, Islanders, Jets and Lightning. These are the teams we have to beat to at least end up 8th or better. I think we'd all agree that we're better than most of these teams on any given night. Well, it's time to prove it. We have just recently beaten three of them. Continue that trend, get healthy, make the playoffs and we have as good a shot as anyone.

Last night was just another setback in a wildly inconsistent season. String some wins together and we can fix this.
