IMO make or break our season.
Rags,Burins and Pens. Either they bury us or we prove we are contenders

I'd say the next 5-6 games dictate if we're buyers or sellers this year. I just hope if we're sellers Homer asks guys to move their NTC's and full investigates all options and doesn't go out and pull a bonehead move trading a young asset for an old over the hil player hoping for a miracle turn around to the season.
and FFS Iginla isn't the answer.

From what I've been reading it sounds like Homer will only makes a move that makes sense for both the present and the future. Doesn't sound like he's interested in trading youth for rentals or anything like that.
hey at least i am going to the next one!
I wasn't expecting them to win all three, but that is NOT how I expected them to start off.
We need two regulation wins, or we can pack it in.
We just have to start competing on the road. I mean 4-9 is absolutely unacceptable. It's too early to be talking about packing it in, even if we fail to win the next couple games. I find it very hard to believe we won't at least be competitive in them.
There are still 10 games remaining combined against the Devils, Rangers, Islanders, Jets and Lightning. These are the teams we have to beat to at least end up 8th or better. I think we'd all agree that we're better than most of these teams on any given night. Well, it's time to prove it. We have just recently beaten three of them. Continue that trend, get healthy, make the playoffs and we have as good a shot as anyone.
Last night was just another setback in a wildly inconsistent season. String some wins together and we can fix this.
