Forget Dhop. I'd like to try a young Jeudy coming off a good season.
He could just be coming in to his own.
23 years old, I get a lot more excited about him than Dhop.
Absolutely do not give up a 1st round pick for him.
If we were that desperate, we could use that #1 on a #1 WR in the draft.
I agree I feel he would be a better long term option and him on one end Thorton on the other this team get's fast real quick

Well if that is the way you see it okay. I think you are using selective memory as it relates to Jakobi, but I really don't want to banter back and forth with this. The forum was already turned into and shit show this week do to 50+ year bitches not knowing when to shut the fuck up
Well...friendly banter is just that.
I'm not going to pick apart every post you make looking for errors, or start typing insults.

Please don't get me wrong, I love Meyers and I would have preferred they resigned him. But my preferences are usually based more on emotions than actual talent evaluation. So, I give the professional talent evaluators...and the ones balancing talent against salary cap challenges...the support that they know better than I.

WR was a position that needed upgrading. You can't upgrade by staying with what you have. Jakobi was super reliable catching the ball and super smart. Jakobi was not super athletic and it hindered him. I support Bill in trying to upgrade the position with someone who has a history of being just as reliable and a bit more athletic.

Juju, Thorton, and Bourne could be a really dynamic receiving group. Add in our upgraded TE's and RB's and we've got potential.

You can upgrade by retaining the players that were effective and getting rid of those that were not. It's been said before JuJu benefitted from AB skill sets and I feel from Mahommes and Kelce, so he looks great when surrounded by great players and at this point in time we don't offer that. I also don't feel he is that much more athletic that Jakobi. Not sure their avg yards per catch are a lot different and I think Jakobi had more TDs.

Again I am not saying JuJu won't work out I just question if it's an upgrade

WR DeAndre Hopkins has been linked to trade talks since the calendar flipped to 2023, and it appears as though the move is coming to a head. The two teams supposedly still vying for his services? The Bills & the Chiefs. Neither have enough cap space to acquire his full $19.45M cap hit right now, but it's perfectly plausible that the Cardinals wind up retaining a bit of his salary to improve their trade compensation. The near 31 year old has 2 years, $34.4M left on his contract, but none of it is guaranteed.

Why? How? Which one if them is so dynamic? I don't get it!

They also upgraded by letting Agholor walk.
I looked it up a while ago and I believe Juju's combine stats were all slightly better than Jakobi's. Maybe his high jump was better but long jump was not, or something like that. Nothing off the charts better though just slightly.
Juju has like 25 - 30 TD's to Jakobi's 3.

I do understand, Prime AB getting double teamed opens up Juju.

Time will tell.

Because Bourne and Juju have both shown in the past to be able to be shifty, quick receivers who can make tough catches in phonebooths and still make a move upfield while Thorton is a smooth burner. All three could be dynamic if utilized correctly and the right packages are used.

LOL None have dynmaic skill sets IMO, I can't imagine a DB in the league saying "Man the Pats WR corps is pretty scary"... To say they will be dynamic is a huge stretch. I think most people are assuming they should be better than last year, based on a lot of different factors but dynamic skill sets is not one of them.

Juju is a SB winner and was great in Pitt. If not for Mahomes he could've been SB MVP. Thorton showed promise as a rookie and has the potential to be a serious threat in year two, particulary under a qualified OC. Bourne is an ass kicker that got in Matty's doghouse.

The driving force behind my opinion on this is that we now have BOB running the offense as well as a qualified line coach.

I like our offense so far now that we have a qualified OC and line coach.

What do you think DB's were saying when Deon Branch was our WR #1?

The offense as it stands right now under better leadership is vintage Patriots.

JuJu has a ring b/c of AB, Mahommes makes WRs better not vice verce, Thorton showed little to nothing last year as a rookie what did you see?

They were saying there isn't a single WR on this team that worries me. But Tom Brady scares the shit out of me, dount they are saying that about MAC
