The Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan reports the Patriots have "serious interest" in JuJu Smith-Schuster.​

The Pats just lost Jakobi Meyers in free agency to the Raiders and are looking for a replacement. Smith-Schuster would be a natural fit for Meyers' role as a big slot receiver who can also take reps on the outside. JuJu went for 933 yards on 78 catches in the regular season last year. Many were expecting him to re-sign with the Chiefs, but after consecutive seasons on one-year contracts, JuJu is likely eying a multi-year deal for a better payday.

I'm probably in the minority here in being so-so on this acquisition while simultaneously thinking Juju, Parker, Bourne, and Thorton makes a pretty solid receiving group and very New England-esque in it's makeup.

Throw in an undrafted little white dude in April and we might be getting somewhere.

i think its a terrible move from meyers to juju and am not sold on parker or bourne

I cant agree at this time. Bourne is a mystery, we don't know shit about Thorton and I don't think Ju JU is any better than Jakobi. I am not sure we aren't worse off than last year

Say what you will, JuJu should have been the MVP of the last Superbowl. He caught every pass thrown anywhere near him. Kelce got the TDs but JuJu did all of the dirty work.

He's also going to be the biggest target for Mac.

I heard Felger bitching last night about JuJu having ONLY 993 yard receiving and 3 TDs from the best QB in the NFL. Excuse me? Travis Kelce is Mahomes favorite target and everyone else is a second or third target .

I'm willing to bet that JuJu breaks 100 catches and 1000 yards in 2023.
