hopkins is already 19 mil for this year but has says he will adjust that and meyers is probably 10-15 mil

Again I believe you, I do not follow the money as well as I should. I follow the team needs but have no idea if they can make it work

Hopkins is saying that nhe'll rewrite his contract and extend it. Best guess? 3/$45M.
Truth is, I don't think Jakobi will take a big discount. He's going to get at the very least, a 4 year/$68M offer with at least half guaranteed. Bill ain't going anywhere near that kind of money. Doing that would open the floodgates for every other Patriot FA. JJ is 29 and is looking for 5 and from all indications, Bill isn't going to chance giving him a bundle into his early thirties. Bill may be a bargain hunter, but he's not a wild gambler. Agholor and harry have left a very sour taste in his mouth about WR. My gut tells me that Bill would feel much more confident giving Hopkins 3/$51M than Jakobi 5/$68M.

That's just the way I feel that Bill thinks when making a contract offer. He'd feel much the same offering a 27 year old Bradbury a longer contract with more money than JJ.

He says it's better than ever and is 100% healed.

I'm sure that there will be film available by late this afternoon.

Biggest question will be if he can go full speed and plant that leg, turn and go vertical. He if does that three or four times and doesn't give any indication of pain, discomfort or restriction, someone will make him an offer on the spot.

Yeah, of course he say's that, he's trying to get paid. It may look good in a controlled environment or workout environment what does that mean for a game environment. I think an incentive laden contract is the most he should expect.

Meyers has youth over Hopkins, so a break even on one and a HUGE WIN on the other.

I think I still got OT or WR. A future LT would be huge then in round three grab an IOL on the right side.,
