Thought you were kissing her ass with the comment, LOL.

Uh....he's the mod.

So, you have it backwards...lol

TF12 has already undressed me * figuratively* in a few basketball discussions.

I had to admit that I was wrong...TWICE!

I like the changes so far.

Yeah, they're taking a little getting used to and I'm sure there are features that I'll never use, but so far, so good. Once everything is completely set up and done, I think it's going to be really cool and doubt there will be another site quite like this one out there.

You will have to excuse him, TF12.

DJ is having flashbacks from the other place where he used to practically wiz all over the thread marking his territory with the ladies.

Mick was my cyber boy-toy.

Flashback's are a great way to describe it. And Mick was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too old to be a boy toy.

Ha ha ha. So the Heat can't keep both?

They'll opt for Dragic. We can get Whiteside!!!!

Whiteside for say 8-10 million per season, I truly think this kid is legit and just had a road less traveled than most on their way to the NBA.

He's signed next year in Miami, right?

I like him too.

But, I would think the Lakers would take Monroe over Whiteside.

I'd like to see how he finishes out the season and how he responds in the playoffs. But yeah, if he keeps doing what he's doing (or even close) then I wouldn't have a problem with the Lakers, for example, taking Mudiay in the draft, going after Whiteside (who will cost less than Monroe) and then looking at another top FA or saving the space to add to their cap space when Kobe's contract comes off the books after next season.

You're probably right that they would take Monroe over Whiteside, but any FO for a team that needs a big that isn't keeping a very close eye on Whiteside, should be fired.

So, lets assume Rondo and Dragic are off the market this Summer.

Where should your Lakers turn?

Knight?..No...Clarkson in Knight-lite...hey that rhymes...lol

Jackson?...Possibility...Why would the Pistons want him and Jennings?

But, I say...Sign Monroe and Draft Mudiay....I have a feeling about this guy.

Worst case....Draft Okafor /Towns steal Trey Burke from Utah since Exum is now the starting pg in Utah.

Thoughts?

I think to a certain extent today hurt the Lakers and Knicks

Dragic has found his new home in all likelihood- hes likely off the market

Phoenix didnt trade for Bradon knight not to match any offers- he is off the market

isiah thomas found a home in Boston- its not likely they deal him.

reggie jackson gets to detroit who likely did not deal for him to not match on a restricted offer

Enes Kanter found a new home in OKC- hes likely off the restricted market- before he would have been a guy teams look at instead of Monroe- it will only drive up Monroes price...

a lot of teams made large deals today and got stuff straightened out...the Knicks and Lakers had to be on the sideline for lack of assets. We shall see how today impacts the offseason.

dj- this is wrong- please read-cap hold?

Russ, still want Sanders?

What about Shrek...I mean Perk?

Looks like Philly won't buy out McGee after all...

I guess they plan on having a 7 footer at every position next year.

I think the Knicks and Lakers will target some of the same guys.

Gasol, Love, Monroe, Harris...etc.

I think you are right about Rondo and Dragic.

This will likely be the last big contract for both.

So, they will stay with the club that has their bird rights.

The RFA's are trickier because the current team can always match.

Leonard and Butler will go nowhere...ditto for Knight.

Gonna be interesting to see what happens with Draymond Green too.

Will the Warriors really match any offer?

Maybe if they can unload Lee...

Yeah...that kid is filthy.

I wonder what Milsap will do.

The guy has earned his paycheck.

So, I hope they offer enough for him to stay.

He's a quality guy.

But...I wouldn't sign him for more than 2 years if I'm a Team like the Knicks or Lakers.

Yes the warriors will match any offer for green. You can bank on that.

Does this mean they can extend him this Summer?

The Heat have Whiteside locked into a veteran-minimum, non-guaranteed contract for next season. That's the good part. The concern -- and this is taking a long view -- is that Whiteside could then command the type of salary during the 2016 free-agency free-for-all that would box the Heat out of other possibilities.

a lot of guys found their homes for a long time tonight- and many of those would have beenonthe market this offseason-

they can extend him this summer if they exercise the non-guaranteed part and than sign him- but if they want to keep dragic thats unlikely to happen.

at this point i think they keep him next year on that deal which is extremely team favorable- and then see where is market is at- and if he continues to play well they will likely be priced out
