I really liked KS last year and still like him, but no doubt some moves can be questioned this season. Idea many say he's too conservative not one of them as what you said is more accurate IMO.

I also think Baker is more injured than is being let on. I think that may explain some of the passes being way off target.

Guy was pretty accurate last year.....especially the second half. Some also might have to do with not trusting the line to hold up with 3 starters out AND the backups.

Cannot say I know much about those injuries and their affects, but he definitely does not step into throws like he needs to.

aikman also said the injury could also be a real issue for him. Probably didn't help was missing 3 starters on the line AND the backups.

and, while I do think his receiver was held on 2 of the INTs even having 2 would have been too much (though they'd still have likely won with only 2).

No doubt gonna need to be at least considering other options, though, next season.

Just frustrated with the season. Really thought before it started the Browns had a legit chance to repeat their 11 game win total from last season.

On paper, they were solid as a rock in the beginning. but i guess that's why the games are played...

Quite honestly i don't know if i woulda took the Browns in the beginning of the season to get to the AFC Championship game(my preseason picks were KC and Buffalo ), but they woulda been a pretty tough out...

No doubt about that. Way we lost the last 2 makes it more frustrating.

If I knew the D would play like it has I'd have picked them to win the conference. Never saw the O being this bad after last season.

Hell, Buffalo a major disappointment too. Before this week only a game ahead of Browns (might remain with game @ NE) and that's with a far weaker schedule. Only 1 win against teams with winning record. Browns have 2. Team also has fallen short often this year late in games needing a score to win or tie.

Read somewhere one of Mayfield's issues this year involves Alice Cooper and their tv commercial. Apparently he never brought that wheel barrow over so Alice could do some mulching so he shoved that boot right up Mayfield's end zone.

Yeah, could be a lack of confidence in the OL. Not stepping into a throw can cause a ball to sail or to fall short depending on the type of throw. A shoulder or back injury that only hurts on certain throws can do that too. He's had a few (including yesterday) that just looked to me like more than just a bad throw.

The refs job is so difficult so must continue to give them a pass no matter what

Nobody is saying that.

If there is a solution to the issue to make the game better, I am all for it. But continually commenting on it does nothing. Especially when your take is wrong.

agree with you on Buffalo. Definitely expected more outta them. As far as the Patsies are concerned, i don't think ANY of us predicted theyed be contending for the #1 seed in the conference this season...

No doubt what we are seeing is a result of not stepping into throws. Just need to know if it's the injury or maybe just a bad habit.

Yeah two times in the last three season so called "experts" have predicted a big season for the Browns. And both times they didn't live up to the expectations the sports talking heads put on the them.

The bold is a good point. Players playing through injury do sometimes develop bad habits trying to compensate for an injury. So it's possible that he's relatively healthy, but developed a bad habit when he was hurt that he hasn't adjusted yet.
