No titles last 3 years for Rodgers nor in 90%+ of all his seasons. But he's gonna have a better chance to win one as he ages?3 years with Rodgers is better than the next 10 years with Mayfield.

Carr also has a tad more experience and has been in same offense for, what, 2 years? 3? Once Baker started picking up the offense he was the #1 QB in the entire league for half a season.I'd trade Carr and some picks in a nano second for Rodgers and Carr had a better season than Mayfield but a worse defense (reason they finished 8-8 and Browns didn't).
Carr, 67.3%, 256.4ypg, 7.9ypa, 27 TD's, 9 INT's, 101.4 PR
Mayfeidl, 62.8%, 222.7ypg, 7.3ypa, 26 TD's, 8 INT's, 95.9 PR
Not to mention if he plays as long as he's projecting Rodgers plays it's 15 years of Baker.Disagree
It's possible time may prove me wrong but I'd rather the Browns take the risk on Baker.
The other side to it is the ESPN proposal had a big cache of picks attached to the trade also. Big LOL.
Never mind absurd as Browns' D was decimated last year and not very good.So the defense is why he fumbled all those time. Makes sense. My bad for questioning.
And Brees...but I agree with your point. And, hell, even he started breaking some with injuries last couple seasons.
OK, but can't Carr regress as well (he's also at an age where regression more likely)? He had once had 2 seasons with just under 4000 yards in each, 60 TDs and 19 INTs combined to 3500, 22 and 13. QBR dropped from 56.1 to 50.5...then even lower at 46.5 the next year. No, it's not. LOL. The Browns had a better defense.
Carr has several good seasons under his belt.....Mayfield broke out this past season but can certainly regress.....

yep....mentioned that at end of my comment so not even sure he breaks the mold of falling off cliff at 39.Brees is a far point. But he's not been remotely close to his usual since 39/40
You think last season will be the aberration and not the one with Freddie? Kid is finally in same system consecutive seasons first time since OU.And the point is Mayfied had 1 good season where he broke out.....he can still regress.....last season could have been an aberration. Carr has proven over 7 years to be a top 10-12 QB.

he was a rookie and they were 0-16 the previous season. Carr was 3-13 as a rookie and has not had a winning season in 5 seasons. Only 1 his entire career. Sure you want to use W-L as your comparison?Under a 2-1 TD to INT ratio, not good. Um......and a 6-7 record. under .500, not good.
He had his best season this past one.
I get it....but he's also trying to say "I'd deal Carr for Rodgers and he's better than Baker".His point with Carr was more he'd be willing to deal him for Rodgers
Agree....just saying absurd to use D as an excuse for why Carr might have struggled and they couldn't win more when our D was pretty bad, too.I try not to use injuries. They're part of the game. All teams have them. Yeah the Browns had a lot. Hopefully this season that doesn't happen. And D last year. Just not very good.

Well yeah, it was the other teams defense. lol
Have to ask....Seeing what they did in shorts throwing to players covered by air can be evaluated but not actual film of TL playing?
Rivers retired
Ben a year away
Eli retired
Peyton retired at 39
39 is the real breaking point for everyone not named TB
At 30.....he's smack dab in his prime.OK, but can't Carr regress as well (he's also at an age where regression more likely)?
