They may have a hard time making that one stick

Yeah, hard to see them being able to when he wasn't convicted of anything and there is apparently evidence of her continuing to pursue him for the weird sex.

Then they have to consider how long he's already been suspended.

Really?

92 catches=1,125 yards, 12.2ypc, 9 TD's and a long of 69, 2016 was the last time he had a TD that long when he had an 80 yarder.

Yes, really.

I watched the game where he had that 80 yarder. Was over 20% of his yards for the season in 1 game.

He doesn’t separate like he used to, he doesn’t run as many deep seem routes and he just isn’t the elite superstar he used to be.

You can’t just look at basic stats and think you know the story. We talk about this with basketball all the time. Stats don’t mean a thing without context.

Big step down no doubt. "Huge step down"? I disagree. I said before and will say it again. Hill is more hurt without Mahomes than the other way around...

And let's not forget pieces are still being added. I dunno if some of you guys are wishful thinking or what...
Will Hill's production fall off, likely but I don't think you realize how important Hill was to that offense. The dude was always open and he was basically unguardable without a double team.
They replace him with:
MVS - decent pickup that has a case of dropsies
Juju - not a bad replacement honestly but his best season was alongside ABrown

As great as Mahomes is he isn't Tom Brady. You can throw anyone out with Brady and he will succeed.

I've followed my team since 1967. Yeah, I know how important he was. I'm saying it won't be as back breaking as YOU seem to think it'll be...

As far as "unguardable", yeah, I believe 2 deep safety was the formula last season. So once again I'm not seeing this as a backbreaker...

I think Mahomes learned a lot last season, ESPECIALLY in the patience department. We'll see if it paid off...

Lowest YPC of his career since that is the main stat you like to look at. Stats won't tell you everything. I can tell you this much, you won't ever see the same Kelce we saw in his prime, he's no Lebron. Still a top 3-5 TE? I don't think anyone in their right mind would disagree but for a couple years it was him and then tier one, maybe Kittle was right there for a year too.

During the regular season, I agree. When it comes to the playoffs it will make a huge difference unless Juju turns into a star, I don't see that happening. Now, I won't fault the KC bc at some point you have to move and they have to build around Mahomes first and foremost. The move made sense but Hill probably has another 3-4 great years if I had to guess. Good deal for Miami but is the Tua the answer? We will see, can't do much better than Hill, Geiski and Waddle.

Exactly my point. Big difference on who's getting Cheetah and company the rock...

Cooper struggles to get separation and his ypc has been 12.1ypc and 12.7ypc the last 2 seasons. And his longest reception last season was 41 yards, career low for longest gain of his career.

Not saying he can't be productive, but think his deep threat days are in rear view mirror. That's all.
He’s a solid guy but for a dynamic pass offense I don’t think he can be the “main” guy anymore. Maybe his value grows when defenses have to sell out to 1) get pressure vs a stout OL or 2) commit more personnel to the box for an elite run game. Cooper will get his but he will put more pressure on the OL protections and run game because he is not the kind of number 1 that is going to draw extra coverage or cushion or help over the top. A true number 1 in the NFL right now is a guy that needs to draw extra coverage on nearly every down.

Browns of course had no first round pick

but I like the move trading down in the 2nd round to recoup picks from the Watson trade.

Coming away with 3 3rd rounders and 3 4th rounders to replenish young, cheap guys on the roster is imperative when you have guys like Watson, Ward, Clowney all making big time money.

3 3rd rounders for Browns.

did a nice job. corner, defensive end and wide receiver.

added to a strength- and put up some good talent at D-line and WR where they needed some talent.

3 more 4th rounders tomorrow.

sucks not having a number 1 or number 2- but if they draft right- they can do a lot of good with 6 picks in the 3rd and 4th rounds and add some cheap guys who can develop and contribute for years to come. As I said in my previous post--- with the guys they are paying- they will need to continue to draft well -especially in these mid rounds- in order to keep costs down.

I think Berry is doing a very solid job.

I might even trade one or two of those 4th rounders for picks next year.

@Shanemansj13 @dtgold88 David Bell reminds me a lot of Higgins actually. Just a guy that knows how to play the position and knows how to get open- not the fastest guy- but just a guy that can play

I remember him tearing up the Big Ten. He had multiple 200 yard games. I like that pick. Good hands. Good route running. Should push DPJ, Schwartz.

Schwartz is a guy who has the physical gifts but needs to develop them. Bell is a polished guy, great hands, great route runner- just lacks top end speed. I like how they will compliment eachother.
