Will be looking at #50, 62, & 103 myself...Cooper's on the decline but he can still be a solid player and they will probably bring back Landry. They could go receiver at 44.
It's actually funny because at one point I woulda welcomed him on the Chiefs. Dude was a badass at receiver...I may fuck around a LOT on here but old DJ knows his shit.
That’s what I’m saying. He had more weapons in Houston even in the lean years. But I admit I worded that in a confusing way.LOL.
He had Hopkins in Houston before he got dealt to Arizona by O'Brien.
absolutely.Sorry, fellas. But I'm STILL reeling over this Watson>Mahomes thing. Of course you know this MUST get re-visited when the regular season rolls around...
Oh, and you ALSO know I'd place a nice li'l Avi bet to PROVE which QB is better, but since the punkass coward has me on ignore I can't do that....
I read it correctly- but then again- reading comprehension has long been a strong suit of mine. That’s what I’m saying. He had more weapons in Houston even in the lean years. But I admit I worded that in a confusing way.
You forgot Hardman. He fixing to get a lot more targets.absolutely.
Kelce will still be a monster but 33 in the NFL is getting up there. Losing Hill is going to be a major loss to stretching the field. Mahomes had a stretch last year where over a 6 game stretch he throw either 1 or 0 TD passes 5 times.
He is still great- hence why I have him top 5- but he certainly didnt look like the force he had been--- and now take Hill out of there and I think itll be interesting to see how he reacts. You are putting a lot of trust in Smith-Shuster, Josh Gordon and Scantling.
Gordon, Scantling, Smith Shuster combined for 4 TD's last year. Now- Smith Shuster was hurt, Gordon hardly played becuase of his constant issues- and both should be better this year- if they are healthy and on the field- but there are more question marks then sure things. Amari Cooper would without a doubt be the Chiefs #1 WR.
Hard to tell at this point especially the offense he was in and what it will be now. For me it’s a wait and see for Swartz and DPJ but DPJ’s upside is much higher. I think Swartz can be a bigger part of the offense if utilized the right way but at this point he is nothing but a speed guy. Yeah Grant is another pickup that was underrated, that’s their slot guy but can be a full-time slot guy? Another question I can’t answer. DPJ can play slot at times too so maybe Pickens is the pick at 44. I still think DT is probably the biggest need thoughSchwartz doesn't have any upside? I get why you didn't mention Grant....he's 29 and has never done much.
I'm being serious.
I think Cooper can be productive for a couple more years, great route runners can last longer in the league. I doubt Jarvis comes back at this point but with the Saints grabbing Olave maybe more of a chance now.Cooper's on the decline but he can still be a solid player and they will probably bring back Landry. They could go receiver at 44.
well, well. The board mouthpiece manned up...absolutely.

Cooper struggles to get separation and his ypc has been 12.1ypc and 12.7ypc the last 2 seasons. And his longest reception last season was 41 yards, career low for longest gain of his career.I think Cooper can be productive for a couple more years, great route runners can last longer in the league. Not saying he can't be productive, but think his deep threat days are in rear view mirror. That's all.
and he's damn near as fast as Tyreek. I ain't worried...You forgot Hardman. He fixing to get a lot more targets.
Obviously Watson isn't ahead of Mahomes but certainly can't hold Watson accountable for having basically a bad team around him his entire career. They refused to give him a decent OL at best. We will see with a much better team around him.
Mahomes should be higher on the list somewhere in the top 3 if not at 1 or 2. Watson is probably in the top 7 bc of the missed year but if it was 2 years ago he would probably be in the top 5. Hard to know now.
and AT LEAST 4 NFL teams offered 3 first round picks for him. I believe half the teams in the league inquired but he struck many of the list right off the bat.
ah, but those homer goggles he packs make him such a great target when he's wrong...Agree. It's just that we all know that if he weren't on the Browns, Wiggy wouldn't have him rated so high. When the comment supporting it is "based on talent alone" it's a weak argument.
Hill is great, let's face it but they couldn't pay him,....you have to make hard decisions with the salary cap.and he's damn near as fast as Tyreek. I ain't worried...
not laying a lotta hope on Gordon anyways. IF he worked then cool. We got him on the cheap. If not, what are we losing...?Hill is great, let's face it but they couldn't pay him,....you have to make hard decisions with the salary cap.
But, Hardman, Schuster, Scantling (he's fast and averages 17.5ypc for his career), and Gordon isn't horrible. Plus, they'll add a receiver in the draft.
Gordon could be done but he didn't get enough time to really tell....if he still has his speed.....he and Scantling COULD HELP replace what they lost with Hill. Or if they get a good receiver.....Gordon could be the #5 guy.
Not every WR has to be a deep threat to be productive, plain and simple. Jarvis has been productive for most of his career and he was never a deep threat. He is a great route runner. DPJ, Grant and Swartz are deep threats. Plus Cooper can be a nice RZ guy for Watson.Cooper struggles to get separation and his ypc has been 12.1ypc and 12.7ypc the last 2 seasons. And his longest reception last season was 41 yards, career low for longest gain of his career.
