sure looked like a grab/hold. Not a no doubter but not a bad call.

It was a hold.

The only controversy is because they didn’t call a ton of penalties all game, so it was somewhat inconsistent with how the game was called.

But it was clearly a hold.

So not sure what the Bengals really have to complain about.

Imo, it was one of those "letter of the law vs. spirit of the law" things.

By the letter of the law...that was a hold. But by the spirit of the law, it shouldn't have been called because it didn't give the defender an advantage or impede the receiver.

It was not a hold. Did he have his hand on him? Sure but you could say that about any play. The MAIN issue is why do you let both teams play until that point and why is this tje tipping point? This wasn’t a hold, if this is a hold they should throw a flag every play. No flag there and it’s 4th and goal on the 8. PRETTY HUGE PLAY. Did it decide the game? No but it was a critical play that could have led to a win, for sure. Should be conclusive evidence if there was a hold, I dont see him grab the jersey and it isn’t clear

I thought when I went back and looked I would agree but I don’t. I think it is an amazing play by a LB. Wilson had a great game overall

If you care about what really happened and not what was being said to cater to fans like you here ya go......

That’s ashame but they had to put the storyline out there like a fairytale ending. That would be like Harden and Philly winning it all and they make it look like he was treated unfairly in BKN and overcame so much in his life.

Angle from the back shows him grabbing the tee shirt under the pads. He uses this as leverage to allow him to make the play on the ball using his right hand. It’s a savvy move that gets taught because you can often get away with the hold but at the end of the day it is a hold and the advantage is seen in the player gaining leverage in order to come across the front and break up the pass. Without the hold Kupp has separation on his break and he makes the catch.

Heading to Camp Lejeune on Friday to return the dog to daughter now that she has her own apt and has moved off base with her hubby.

Working through my issues about giving up the dog.

Notre Dame names Al Golden as DC. Nice hire. I like it.

If he were to retire today, I'd say no. But, at his current trajectory, I'd say he'll get in.

And that's me being as negative as possible.

Ultimately, I think he gets in at some point. Maybe not 1st ballot, but he'll get in.

I disagree, I think ND could've done better.

Golden is pretty stubborn and not really adaptive as a coach.
Miami should have never fired him. They've gotten progressively worse since they did. Al should have waited and run from that job. Miami is where coaching careers go to die and he was going there while they were also on probation.

This is beyond the most laughable take I've ever seen in my life. I'll admit, Miami has been bad the last 20 years, Al Golden (Manny Diaz makes a good run) was probably the worst era during that timeframe. The Ghost of Mark Richt came in right after Golden won 9-games in year 1, and nearly made the CFB Playoff in year 2 before he completely burn out.

Al Golden rolled out some of the most flawed defensive schemes I've ever seen while he was here. And when they proved not to work, he doubled down on them.

On the Miami note, Miami during that time frame also didn't never showed a commitment financially to the program. That changed this offseason.

He built a winning defense with less talent at UVa and at Temple. I'm still thinking its a Miami is DogShit thing and not an Al Golden sucks thing.

Miami was still considered a sleeping giant when Golden took that job. Now that job is a black hole. Cristobal is about to get Scott Frosted
