W/L are not a QB stat. Namath, Jurgensen both had losing records. Fouts, Moon, and Blanda were barely .500.
I'm sure Stafford has several years left with the Rams to get over .500. That won't likely be the stat to hold him back IMO. More playoff success should cancel that out.
Did any of those QB's play in a pass-happy league where the rules favor the offense? All of those QB's played in a much different era.
And if W/L isn't a QB stat then 2x S.B. champ Jim Plunkett, who was 72-72, should be a HOFer right?
But I gotta say I've never seen someone say that a QB's W/L record isn't a legit way to judge a career. That to me is a stunner.
Like I already said with the weapons the Rams have right now I see no reason that by the time Stafford's done his record should be right at or above .500.
