You are completely full of shit. LSU was never a player because they are far from a cultural fit, and it is widely known Riley wanted no part of the SEC. OUs athletic department is in fine shape and we could have paid whatever we wanted. That is pretty weak on your part, but you know that.

OU is broke. They’re carrying massive debt. This is why they were so hell bent on the SEC.

There's probably other shit they've substituted in there that is worst than the sugar (and added sugars) that are in the originals.
True. But likely the sugar is worse for the diabetics.

LSU could've paid double for Riley than what USC did and Riley still would've chosen the latter. OU and Texas dipping on the Big 12 makes zero sense to me. They're likely going to become fodder for Bama and UGA.
LSU went as high as 12 million. The rumored value on the USC deal is 10 years and 15 million.

Has zero to do with the athletic program. All covid related.

Doesn’t matter, he was never going to LSU. The SEC thing is what sent him packing.

In 2018? The entity itself is in a tough spot financially. Covid made it worse. They were removed from the Us News and World Report list for lying about data because their applicant pool had dipped as much as 30%. You can’t look at one division of a huge entity and call it healthy when the larger entity itself is in bad shape.

Listen, I get it. It’s unprecedented for a Blue Blood to get cucked in this way and have a coach leave for another college program. You’re gonna do what you need to do in mental gymnastics in order to get yourself ok with the unthinkable.

No, it’s the sec
He told you that? what's to be so afraid of? Bama might not be Bama when Saban decides to retire. UGA looks great this year but they usually find a way to shit the bed most seasons. who else is so scary in the SEC?

And, sure, no one has ever wanted to move to SoCal for a lot of money.

Well at the start of the season I was hoping my team could win 10 or 11 games. That ain't happening though.

It might be time for the Browns to consider sitting Mayfield the rest of the year, he's not healthy. Get whatever surgery he might need and get ready for next season.

The D did their part last night, 4 int's. But the offense, led by Mayfield, only could score a frustrating 10 points. And he didn't even complete 50% of his passes.

At least I know the Browns won't lose next week.
I mean, sure, the QB leads the offense, but he does not drop perfect passes...many on 3rd down to end drives.

It’s all over the media here, he checked out after the sec move and was not in favor of it

He's scared?
I wouldn't say scared......just being smart. All he has to worry about over in the Pac 12 is Oregon and maybe Utah. In the SEC, you have UGA, Bama, LSU, and then your 2nd tier of teams in Auburn, UF, and A&M. I'd take the Pac 12 as Riley gets his pick of the litter on the West coast.

There will be plenty come out, but culturally he was never a fit at LSU, ot the SEC in general.

It's shocking....but not really. I'd have dipped out as well. The SEC is a churn and burn on coaches. After a couple of years being in the SEC and not winning your conference (which OU did annually in the Big 12), Riley's name was going to be on the hot seat for not dethroning Saban; just like most SEC coaches.

Their second tier teams are no different than other conference second tiers. They also have dregs, too.

Who is the best SEC win outside the SEC this year? The other tough wins?

I guess I look forward. will they all be unnamed or will any of names?

FYI, choosing USC over LSU does not necessarily mean scared of SEC.
