Not likely, I don’t see OU going outside of the Bob Stoops circle of influence. Interesting note about Oklahoma. Since 1935 OU has hired only one coach that had head coaching experience. That was Howard the drunk Schnellenburger back in the 90s and he was fired after one season.

I've been following it pretty closely and I don't remember ever hearing his name tied to USC except, I think some writer tweeted asking if USC would go big and try to hire someone like Lincoln Riley early on. Outside of that, I only heard his name tied to LSU.

Oh it was big time stealth, that’s how it is done. They had all the crazies down at LSU putting out smoke about him going there, made it easier to keep quiet. Riley wanted no part of the SEC.
