Don’t see it
Right, I just saw the number posted in this or another thread. I personally wouldn’t even begin to say which options were better or worse (going for it vs fg) because all of the choices make sense in some capacity.100% this year I believe. I’m not sure I would go career numbers for kickers. Some are up and down, some find their way eventually, some get on hot streaks. I believe he made all kicks with Detroit, could be wrong
And there’s a mental image I did not expect to have when I woke up today. LolCampbell is a hell of a motivator but that team is very fortunate Ben Johnson is coming back. Campbell better give that guy a fucking blowie
So through 17 football games and 2 playoff games you were wrong. But when it didn’t work out in the 20th football game, it’s time to flex with “I told ya so”.I said it earlier in the season so maybe I am a really good football coach all year long
what if the kicker is really bad in that situation (where they were when his kick could have tied it)?
I’m sure the same thought the same about Staley 2 years ago. Can anyone list why Campbell is a hell of a coach?Don’t see it
It’s better than your logic. He goes for bc he is who he is. No growth as a decision-maker is what I am hearing. There is nothing special about this guy and you will see in a couple yearsSo through 17 football games and 2 playoff games you were wrong. He’s an incredible motivator. He lets his coaches coach. He has built a football team that is aggressive and it’s turned the program around.I’m sure the same thought the same about Staley 2 years ago. Can anyone list why Campbell is a hell of a coach?
Offensive or defensive genius?
Any specific trait other than being a motivator?
I’ll listen if anyone has anything relevant to add
He played the game at a high level himself for one. Motivator is way up there on the list when it comes to coaching. He was assistant head coach under Payton in New Orleans for a number of years. You think he might have learned a little in that situation?I’m sure the same thought the same about Staley 2 years ago. Can anyone list why Campbell is a hell of a coach?

15-20 on 4th and 3 or less all seasonIt’s better than your logic. He goes for bc he is who he is. No growth as a decision-maker is what I am hearing. There is nothing special about this guy and you will see in a couple years
The decision to run on 3rd down was inexcusable. I’ll give ya that. The guy fucked up at the end of the game too in a crucial game. Lets be clear this is more than just going for it on 4th down
He turned around a shit franchise in less than 3 years…..yep nothing special about himIt’s better than your logic. He goes for bc he is who he is. No growth as a decision-maker is what I am hearing. There is nothing special about this guy and you will see in a couple years

Great motivator. Quickly instilled a healthy, winning culture.I’m sure the same thought the same about Staley 2 years ago. Can anyone list why Campbell is a hell of a coach?
