He's right to a point. They did kind of do him dirty by not being up front with him re: Watson. To be fair though, they had some reasons to question whether he was "the guy" or not and they had a chance to get what they thought was the better player.

This seems to be an unintended consequence of what they've done with rookie QB contracts. It's a lot easier for teams to move on from a guy if they still have doubts when the contract expires.
