Who?

I have not scrolled through the entire thread, I just saw your comment.
No biggie. Yeah I started by saying I thought he would get a Geno type deal but that it could include a couple more years because he is only 28. 5 for 150 ish is not out of the realm of possibility, but likely not quite that much overall.

I think he will get a shorter deal....his agent should try and get a longer deal of course but if I am the Bucs I try to get a 3 year deal worth 100-110 mill. On the same timeline as the other key offensive players on the team.

I think if it’s not more than that he won’t be a Buc. Someone going to pay him more, he had a big year.
Maybe but don't think so.....think he needs 2 big years for a bigger payday.

We will see who is right I guess. Geno didn’t set the world on fire for a long period of time. By the way Baker has the same off coordinator that helped Geno resurrect his career.

wont bother me if the kid gets what you think and hope he does. Not my money nor my team paying it.

I’m here for all the fat ugly middle aged men with strong opinions on Taylor Swift’s looks. Meanwhile, should see pay the slightest attention to them, said fat ugly middle aged men would prematurely ejaculate in their tighty whiteys.

Huh? Saw a better season just a few years ago.
My bad. Totally forgot that some teams celebrate close losses in the divisional round of the playoffs to back up QBs. Mea Culpa. I forgot about that team because they quickly went to shit soon after their “rise”.

This is half of Daniel Jones money. I don’t think you have a grasp on QB values in the NFL.
The kid got $4 mil last season and because it was a major gaffe to sign Jones doesn't mean others will be so quick to pay Baker that much after a bounceback season.

Guess we'll see.

He signed up for a situation in Tampa and that’s all they could have afforded. He could have taken short term money last year and be in less of a situation. The real value of Mayfield on the open market isn’t $4 million a year. That could be the piece that has you saying retarded shit like Baker would sign a contract for an AAV of $20 million for 3 years. I doubt he’d even do a one year show me deal for $20 million after a year of 4,000 + yards and a 3:1 TD:INT ratio.

How many big years did Geno have after being a career backup when he left the Jets?
