If this the trend teams are going to then they need to just get rid of preseason. It is pointless. Teams can just have joint practices and make roster decisions based on that. Also, preseason tickets should now be free if none of the starters are playing anymore. People mostly pay money on preseason to see the 1's play for a few snaps.

No disagreement there.........and guessing when they eventually get to 18 games it will mean another preseason game goes (or all of them).

It's debatable he's better (never mind they are younger with more room to improve), but agree Carr is still a top QB and should have been in consideration for this list.

Dalton will, he actually played better than Fields. Dalton doesn't play defense.

11 of 17 for 146 yards, 1 TD and an INT.

Fields was 9 of 19 for 80 yards.

73 of Dalton's yards came on one fluke pass that the receiver rebounded off the DB. He was booed every time he came out for another series other than the one series after the long TD play. He was an inch away from 10-17 for 73 yards and a pick and 2 sacks, with hardly any Bills starters playing the entire game.

It really helps to actually watch the games vs just read raw stats.

Davion Davis is making some noise on preseason as well. Going to be a difficult decision if they can only keep 6 WR’s….

OBJ, Landry, DPJ, Higgins, Felton - automatic
Hodge, Swartz, Natson and Davion Davis -

Maybe they keep 7 if Swartz is on IR to start the season and I will be all for Davis over Hodge. He just has an “it” factor I am seeing

Also Dalton isn't nearly as mobile as Fields. JF has the athleticism to possibly make something out of a busted play. Dalton not so much.

They have plenty of options, he is replaceable. It's not like he is great and that's basically all he does. He's just wasting a roster spot imo

I mean, the guy seems to catch the ball when near him and has made plays in real NFL games. Isn't to say Davis wont, but so far the only plays he has made were against guys who likely wont be on the field this year. Does look good so far.....but so did Josh Lenz.
