I know the week one match-up if the Browns and the Chiefs is gonna be over-analyzed, but my early prediction is Chiefs by 7...

I think the offense- and especially the running game- will be in good shape for the Browns early on.

What worries me is integrating basically a whole new defense. Honestly- I think there are going to be 2 starters back from last years defense.

isnt that it? Ward and Garrett? Any other starters back from last year on the defense?

the secondary doesnt only have a chance- it IS going to be much improved- but i think itll take time. Delpit and Newsome havent played 1 NFL game but both guys are extremely talented. Greedy hasnt played in over a year of course. Adding Hill and of course Johnson in free agency will help a lot- but the defense will likely need some time to gel.

That is unless Clowney gets his act together and Garret takes the next step. If thats the case....yikes.

Something to be said for this......but they survived last year with some pretty bad players on D...especially in the secondary. Have to think that - even though new - better players will make a huge difference.

Agree Johnson and Hill help a ton over guys who were scrap heap players last season as they are seasoned vets. also right about Delpit, Greedy and Newsome as can't be sure....but figure they have to be better than guys who probably should have been on practice squad.

No idea what their TV ratings look like, but the American audience shouldn’t be the main consideration here.

I hate the prime time start at 8 PM EST.

Make it 6. It is tape delayed anyway. Just have a different start time on the west coast.

Yeah most i been able to watch is mostly swimming. That seems to come on live all the time 8 or 9 pm est. Been catching some volleyball as well but that's been it for now
