I agree. That's why I'm disagreeing with the notion they will be better. Money hasn't ever been their problem. I have no doubt there will be more of it though.

It is well known that OUs issue has been defense. For all the good he did Bob Stoops was blind to how bad his brother was. Getting a few better players on defense is all OU needs and it’s not a reach to think they will get them. It’s already started in fact.

OU will be much of the same imo. They've had title capable teams just haven't gotten it done. Sometimes it is just the breaks

Not so sure...at least as long as Saban stays at Bama as that's a near lock as one of the SEC teams. In the B12 they are a near lock to get in with 12 teams.

also could hurt in SEC if they have a limit on how many teams can get in from one conference.

I would think that with 12 teams, SEC will get at least 2 every year, some years 3, and maybe even an occasional 4.

Especially if they rob the big 12 of their top programs.

This might be enough for me to stop rooting for them. That's how much I dislike the name. Don't remember how many years ago this was but the teams minor league affiliate Akron Aeros changed their name to the fucking Rubber Ducks. And now this.

I don't know who had the final say on the name but I'm blaming that jackass of an owner Paul Dolan. If Dolan sounds familiar it's because his dumbfuck brother owns the Knicks.

Ah, yeah sorry. I would definitely expect the SEC to have 3 more times than not. Saw something that said it’s happening after this season and that OU and TX will pay $76M each in buyouts. Wow.
