Yeah or they could just sign D'Ernest. Not sure how much that would cost. That would mean Jerome Ford and D'Ernest are 1 and 2 and Ford is likely the starter. I don't think they trade him though...just scoping the market bc why not
Never say never but also cannot see us using a 2nd rounder (our first pick) on a RB.

No way I hang on to him if I'm Cincy either way

Rumor has it they were considering cutting him before this news.

Regardless of Mixon’s involvement, this type of headline could make Cincy’s decision an easy one.

If I’m Jackson, I don’t see the benefit of signing that. It’s not really free agency. Any team looking to out bid Baltimore will still temper their offer because they have to send two number 1 picks to the Ravens. If that price scares off teams he plays for one year at 32 million…about 60% of his real market value where he is in the same boat risking impactful injury that handcuffs his negotiation next year.

I don’t sign it and I hold out. I tell them trade me to someone who appreciates me and will give me my value or sign me long term based on where I am in the market (yes…if DeShawn Watson gets 100% guaranteed then Lamar should get at least 75-80% guaranteed). I tell them shit or get off the pot. If I’m the future, commit to me. If you hedge then let’s end the partnership. Why play for people who don’t believe in you?

This sounds eerily familiar....

It's his second one already this offseason.

I told everybody that the Jones contract with start with a 4 when looking at the yearly average of the deal. This is the going rate for QBs

Lmao, yeah go ahead and hold out and try to make up that much money. I’m glad the Ravens aren’t caving. As far as being appreciated, remember this is a guy that most of the team thought could have played with them in the playoffs then he didn’t even travel with the team. Go ahead, hold out.

And I guarantee you he was offered a lot more money than they got. He wants it all guaranteed, not happening. And I would argue that he certainly can’t throw better than Jones, or Carr, or a lot of guys.
