It was definitely his last comments that sunk him for good. Coupled with apparently taking phone calls during some interviews? Which is fucking wild

This is crazy to me. Namely the fact that his generation doesn’t take phone calls. They text. I hear something like this and I have the opposite reaction. I’m more likely to question the extent of how bad the interviews were when I hear this detail. It doesn’t pass the smell test.

Hes agile not fast. He can get some tough yards. He would be Temu Josh Allen.

only draft pick I have a problem with was Gabriel.

Id much rather have had JAck Sawyer there for DE depth- or draft an O-lineman there.

Kind of how I looked at it, too.....but I have not sat down with Gabriel, watched film with him, seen every pass he has made, etc.

Also think seems to make more sense if it was sanders round 3 and Gabriel round 5 (or later). But if having them both OK doesn't really matter where they got them.

But many 3rd rounders get released or wind up on practice squard....especially QBs. Why hillarious?

Gabriel made like 2 million at Oregon last year. I’m pretty sure he is good enough to hold a clipboard, he’s pretty sharp.

I doubt anyone gets released. Pickett is a serviceable backup. Flacco is locked as starter imo unless someone blows the coaches away.

Like 35 to 40 million gets recouped yes. Im sure given Haslam is a bit shady he is paying Watson another 5 to 10 million under the table to play dead all year.

It's coming out the Browns owner called for them to draft Sanders.....nobody else in the draft room looked excited.....except the owner.

Yeah and if that's true it means they made the deal for the #2 pick against his wishes as his facial expressions was far worse than the ones by Berry/Stefanski after the sanders pick (which were pretty normal).

I could see moving Pickett if a better chance to start to do a solid for him. But agree not sure anyone gets released.

If it ever got out i assume that would be historic penalties. But I don't see Watson sitting out to save Haslam money out of the kindness of his heart.

They gotta be released, clear waivers and then go to the PS. They could leave, no guarantee they stay and relegate themselves to the PS.

OK....but if someone wants them bad enough I guess that means drafting them not such a bad decision?

All seriousness...anyone know if this is like MLB where you can pull someone back from waivers? If said to place someone on PS can a team pull back and keep him (and release or put someone else on PS)?

Consider that the owner is so dumb he was pissed they traded out of 2 because he wanted them to take Sanders there.
