Damn.
Whatever happened sounds messed up.
Hope everyone is okay.
Allegedly the kid had a nerf gun and Mixon laid about 11 shots at him
Given that the kid was not in Mixons residence it is highly likely he catches charges
His sister saying he wasn’t involved but her saying that is not surprising. Not much info out there yet, but either way, Mixon has a troubling past.
Could be a wrap for his career if he ends up getting charged.
Maybe even if he doesn’t depending on how this played out.

Supposedly they were checking out 2 housesI mean.
If it goes down at his house and he was there, he was involved.
He may not have fired the shots or have done anything wrong. But anyone there was involved.
Looks like they finally talked to him, no one arrested, crime scene tape was removed.

Damn
Kid was on his property or no?
Doesn't necessarily mean he's in the clear
It sucks bc I love Nick Chubb but you need to build your offense around a QB in today’s NFL. You trade him at full value though and I think that’s now or next year.
Trading Nick Chubb for a 2nd or 3rd rounder just doesn’t make sense to me at all.
Trading Nick isn't about the money, he doesn't fit the offense they want to run. It's going to be pass heavy, because of that the RB needs to be able to run out of the shotgun formation. Plus he'll need to be a better receiver than Nick out of the backfield.
If you can trade him for a WR like AJ Brown (doubt it) I am all up for it but a 1st would do. Maybe give it a year.
The removal of tape lends itself to police no longer treating it like a crime scene. Pretty solid early sign that this is over. Things can obviously change but that’s a solid indicator.Doesn't necessarily mean he's in the clear
RB is a dead end position in the NFL. Why pay a dude 10-12 million a year when you can get similar production out of a 3 headed monster of average guys? Or you invest in a guy like Zeke Elliott and as soon as he gets paid injuries makes him less than the guy you thought they were getting. The Titans are shopping Derek Henry. That says everything about the RB position in the NFL.
I’m talking all this shit and it’s dangerous because swooping in with a 2nd round pick to grab Henry is a Howie Roseman move haha. For one or two years, good luck playing the mesh point with Henry/Hurts and then the play action off of it haha. But like all RBs you can snap your fingers and he goes from top 2-3 backs in the league to just a guy.Henry is 29, a dangerous age for most RBs (especially those with high carry totals). He's not most RBs, but the Titans aren't on the verge of a SB any time soon, so get what you can before the decline.

Yeah or they could just sign D'Ernest. Not sure how much that would cost. That would mean Jerome Ford and D'Ernest are 1 and 2 and Ford is likely the starter. I don't think they trade him though...just scoping the market bc why notA 2nd rounder could get you RB2 in this year's draft?
Yeah that doesn't make much sense in that offenseReports have the Bills interested too, but the Bills use their RBs for receiving as much as rushing. Seems like a bad fit unless they're changing things up (and I've seen mocks where Bijon falls to 27 - but I don't believe them lol).
