Looks like Carr got about half fully guaranteed and Smith got about 2/3 fully guaranteed. One less year for Smith.

There is your QB!!!! LOL.
He's a borderline 15 qb and there are 32 starting quarterbacks in the league so yes he is mediocre which basically means avg...still better than anything we had last season

It sucks bc I love Nick Chubb but you need to build your offense around a QB in today’s NFL. You trade him at full value though and I think that’s now or next year.

Trading Nick Chubb for a 2nd or 3rd rounder just doesn’t make sense to me at all.
Trading Nick isn't about the money, he doesn't fit the offense they want to run. It's going to be pass heavy, because of that the RB needs to be able to run out of the shotgun formation. Plus he'll need to be a better receiver than Nick out of the backfield.

If you can trade him for a WR like AJ Brown (doubt it) I am all up for it but a 1st would do. Maybe give it a year.
RB is a dead end position in the NFL. Why pay a dude 10-12 million a year when you can get similar production out of a 3 headed monster of average guys? Or you invest in a guy like Zeke Elliott and as soon as he gets paid injuries makes him less than the guy you thought they were getting. The Titans are shopping Derek Henry. That says everything about the RB position in the NFL.

And you’re right. There’s no way in hell the Eagles would trade AJ Brown for a guy at a position they don’t value. Miles Sanders is begging the Eagles to bring him back right now and they aren’t biting.

Yeah.

Nobody trading a first rounder for Chubb whose best days are probably in the rear view.

I’d say better than average though because there’s a cliff after you get past 15-16 where everybody like 20-45 is essentially the same kind of not good enough.

3 points in the 2nd half is always going to be unacceptable.

A defense collapsing and giving up a 17 point lead is also always going to be unacceptable.

Like I said...you're both wrong.

But perhaps you 2 can find some common ground in your mutual wrongness.
