Agreed he’s banged up. Hey how familiar is this poor tackling to you Sooner fans? I don’t get it but I’ve never seen such inconsistent tackling as I’ve seen out of Lincoln Riley teams. And ironically, they were really good in that aspect of the game last week vs ND.

This whole thing is like deja vu honestly. Riley is one of the top offensive guys in the country when he is motivated, and that includes the pros. His teams got worse every year at OU though, that is the record. Maybe he will grow.

That’s just schematically unsound defense. There’s nobody on the back side edge to contain boot. That gives him time to hit the long pass. Receiver is wide open. And then cherry on top of a rotten defensive scheme a missed tackle from safety that could have been one of those 4 point tackles if you had a defense that can rise up in the red zone.
