My excuse for the Browns is their DC and we haven’t seen this offense with Watson. Ohh also they refuse to beef up the interior DL…it’s the worst in the league. Dolphins were gashing them for 10 ypc.
Stefanski is still on the hotseat, if he wants to stay he needs to hire an OC and fire Woods.

Woods likely stays until end of season I'm guessing (though don't care if he goes). Are you promoting the DB, DL or LB coach? If they feel they need to shake things up, maybe fire the DL coach?

Assuming you mean play caller as he has an OC. Even with that we had a top 10 O coming into the last game....with the backup QB. I kind of want him to stay as the playcaller through the season to see the O with Watson. Guy has gotten good QB play out of healthy Baker, Brissett and Keenum (in Minn.)

Not sure if coincidence run D went South after walker went down. Also lost next 2 LBs. Had a guy playing (51) I've never heard of. Either way need to beef up the DTs.

This team was in the playoffs last year despite all the turmoil. They add Adams and get worse?

I agree I think it won’t happen till the offseason but I don’t like that at all. The players obviously do not respect him and it isn’t working, cut ties now imo.

I get they have injuries but they have injuries every year. I am beginning to think they just have injury-prone guys on defense or the strength and condiitioning coach needs to go. They have refused to address the interior DL. I’m sure the run D wouldn’t look as bad with healthy LB’s but they have no pressure or run stop at the DT position

Just like Wilder, Izzy had Pereira in trouble only to get his lights shutoff late in the fight.

Crazy that Izzy could've ended the fight in the 1st round if he had 5 more seconds. Actually felt bad for Izzy, dude fought a nearly perfect fight, and still lost to the same guy. Pereira is that dude's boogeyman. Funny that all of the middleweights are lining to take on Pereira. He's not as quick as Izzy, but one shot, and you're done.

Pereira's (AP) one of the greatest kickboxers in the world. Sean Strickland got put to sleep by this dude in about a minute. Pereira's that f'ing guy. I remember AP's second fight in the UFC, dude he was fighting was trying to take him down and I remember the crowd booing. Fucking casuals, I'd gas myself out trying to take AP out if I was (forced) to fight him. Because if it went standing, he'd legit murder me with his left hook.

Look back at history of low end playoff teams that make a big splash adding high priced players like Adams.

They have to sacrifice depth to make a move like that.

And yeah, it often results in the team getting worse.

Just commenting on the history of those big splash moves often failing to pay off.

Big names as non-QBs are great to have, but high quality depth is more important in the NFL

For sure not addressing DT better a mistake. I don't mind not getting Suh as some have said as the guy has not signed anywhere. Who even knows if he wants to play. But someone better should have been brought in.

Are you promoting the DL, LB or DB coach to run the same system (which is what would happen)?

I'm just hoping they bring someone in from the outside to run a completely different system (like Knowles has for OSU).
