I would much rather pay Geno 25 than Hurts 50

Hurts has been much better than I ever thought possible.

But, he is in this position because of all the great pieces surrounding him.

Pay him Mahomes money and take away a few of those pieces, and I don’t see it going well.

No doubt. A lot of risk. At the same time, QB has really become a players market. This is the cost of admission if you want to play. If you don’t have a QB it doesn’t matter what the rest of your roster is.

I'm not sold that Geno will hold up either though. When expectations are low, he's been a godsend. As expectations rise and their schedule gets tougher?

Looking like "your guy" might have made some mistakes. Tua looking like he could be a solid QB and far from a bust. Not so sure about Fields yet as he'll need to do more than run well.

Not saying this to rip him as many of us were wrong about these guys (Hurts, too).

Yeah, what he told me later about Hurts actually makes a lot of sense if you knew what he does.

But yes, his data looks wrong about those 2. But again, pretty good explanation for how it got skewed.

Can’t say without revealing what he does and who he works for.

And that would get him in trouble.

Just suffice to say that his data on Hurts was flawed because of Hurts’ lack of effort.

He looked good last night but he has had about 3 pretty rough games in a row. I really think the whole deal with him is guaranteed money, he thinks he should get the same deal Watson got with it all guaranteed and I don’t think the other owners are going to allow that to become the norm. He will get paid, I mean I saw where even if he is franchised he will get $45 mil. I think they will work it out after the season.

He has been good

Also totally get why the Ravens are nervous.

He doesn’t project to be elite as long as a QB like Mahomes who does most of the damage with his arm.

Even Josh Allen, who is obviously a running QB is less reliant on using his legs to make plays.
