Calling a multi-billion dollar business for trying to scale ridiculous. I've heard it all now.

The NFL can charge whatever they want now. It's the networks that care about ratings, not the league. Who exactly is complaining about the length of games?

Both the NFL and networks care about ratings. If the NFL isn't bringing in ratings, the networks aren't offering up as much money, it's all about negotiations and what data (ratings) you bring to the table to back your (NFL's) point.

I don't complain about the length of games, but again, fans in general love continuous action, not long delays that water a game down.

Brady was still an overreaction to Tua because the refs feel the pressure of not having another Tua situation. There wasn't anything to take him out of the game over, but they could send a message to both teams re: hits on the QB.

Agree to disagree. Brady rules in the NFL are equivalent to Jordan rules in the NBA IMO.

Yet fans complain that more varieties of plays can't be reviewed. You have to make decisions without the fans' input more often than not.

There's nothing to disagree about. Yes, Brady has always had another level of benefit as it relates to calls. However, Brady has never gotten the benefit of a call on a text book sack where the defender broke no rules (ie low hit, helmet-to-helmet, late hit, etc..). That's the debate.

"We'll agree to disagree" is basically "I have no rebuttal and just talking out of my ass".

Oh, I don't disagree there are Brady rules. But that's part of the overreaction, here's why, imo:

If you took a poll before Sundays games and asked people what games would be most likely to have an overreaction because of the Tua situation, most would say the Dolphins game and Tom Brady's game.

Bullshit. He has always gotten the benefit of late calls and "hard hits". His (and Carr's) roughing the passer calls are not related to concussion protocols.

Overreactions to the Tua situation would have players being declared for concussions with a wider reach. There have been zero changes to roughing the passer penalties. Any spillover is coincidental at best.

Again (for about the 5th time, lost count), show me a case where Brady got a beneficial call like the one he got against Atlanta last Sunday.

@WiggyRuss

Did you hear the 2nd Season of House of the Dragon won't air for 2 years?

:sad2:

HBO is still on that Game of Thrones Season 6 and 7 bullshit.

This is exactly why I didn't want to start watching this series.
I'll be honest, it's not exactly great.

I'm not going to spend time searching for something that everyone has seen if they've watched games vs Brady. A finger grazing a helmet? Roughing. Opposing qb gets clubbed across the side of the head? Incidental.

Devante Adams catching a misdemeanor assault charge.

I am sorry, but that seems ridiculous to me. Yes he pushed him. Yes I am fine with a short suspension.

But man. Of all the on field incidents I have seen that could rise to the level of criminality, this ain’t it.

The guy is pressing charges so it has to be something I guess. We all know he will get paid off.

My guess is that is the angle anyway, but man.

There really does need to be more regulations on camera people. Dude runs right in front of Devante out of nowhere hustling to get his shot.

Really shouldn’t have been there

You see that shit with Ben Gordon?

Punched his son so hard in the face that the kid had to be hospitalized.

.....he did it in a airport.

The kid is 10.

That's the kinda shit you throw the book at.

Ex says its a lie.

Cameras should be able to sort this pretty quickly.

It's simple common sense to not shove people to the ground though. Save the outburst for the locker room.
