Just enjoy the extra baseball. You don’t have a leg to stand on here. The AL Central is the worst division in baseball. You don’t need to apologize for being the tallest midget but it is what it is.
I'll definitely enjoy it and am aware in either of the East divisions we are likely going home. Huge accomplishment for the FO, though, since a couple of those midgets tried to win by spending.

Guardians' record puts them 2nd or 3rd in every other division in baseball. Never thought I would say this, but they are actually lucky to be in Cleveland.
No doubt the division has helped......but FO has been elite.

But is fair to say if we were in the ALW or NLC instead of their current top teams we'd have a decent shot to win it. Since divisions can only be 5 teams not an unfair comment to make. WITH Houston? No chance.

They don't call Denver "Mile High" for just one reason any more...

You're right about that.

I think whoever suggested organic food & jazz was tripping on mushrooms though.

What makes this such a good season for the team is how young they are. This is great building block for the future. And I'm pretty sure most of their key players are locked in for multiple years. But it has to mentioned how lousy the ALc was during the regular season.

Obviously I'd like to see them have some post season success. But I wouldn't be surprised if their playoff trip is a short one.

Nothing they dod will shock me (since it's baseball) but, yeah, getting by TB, NY and Houston would be a huge surprise.

Only key player not locked in until at least 2024, I believe, is Rosario (signed through next season).

I'll be watching. And when the season ends I'll look at it as a damn good one for them.

I'm not expecting any miracles though.

Even if the stay is short, a young team getting playoff experience is usually a good thing. Plus, young teams sometimes don't understand that they can't win and will throw a scare into a higher ranked team, if not win outright.

No doubt it's great progress for a young team.

Yankees aren't as scary as they seemed early on, but somehow the Astros have kinda been below the radar with 100+ wins.

That baseball type elbow injury is effecting Staff's performance.

Nah, it was largely the Niners defense. Constant pressure (some blame to be put on the Rams OL too) forced the Rams to dink/dunk, challenging McVay's patience. Would help if Robinson could contribute AT ALL; at this rate, he's definitely getting cut after next season when they have an out (if not sooner). Bobby Trees, we did you wrong....

Compare OLs, running games, and opponents and get back to me, lol. Rams have lost to two proven contenders. Lions struggled with the Commies and lost to the Seahawks and Vikes (and the contender Eagles).

That Cleveland team's so young it's funny. Before the season with all the inexperience they have thought for sure they would be well below .500. Just another example of why Francona's one of the best managers currently in the game.

He is but I'd even give more credit to an elite FO. Been great at finding/developing pitchers for a while. Great to see some of their hitters coming up and contributing.

That’s great. Experience for the young team. Not going to get into the debate of worst division bc they are in it but in the grand scheme it doesn’t matter
