Prime time on national TV is a lot different than a skirmish in practice.

Not sure if you are serious or joking. It's the exact same situation except the NFL's reputation isn't in jeopardy bc it wasn't on TV. Ohh cry me a river.

It's funny hearing people getting wound up about the Myles incident and saying he should be kicked out of the league and now, "ohh it's practice the league can't do anything so they won't". They definitely CAN if they think it's the right move. There is absolutely no difference. If he isn't suspended by the NFL, Goodell needs to be fired. This guy has mishandled so many situations starting with the owners.

I don't see the difference between on the field, practice or at some bar. Assault is assault. Garrett made a big mistake and he paid for it, Donald should get the exact same punishment.

Yep...and Rudolph started the brawl in which Myles hit him.

Once again, since on the practice field if a Cinci DE decides to break stafford's leg (noticed I originally said Burrow and doubt they'd do that to their own guy) would that be OK? No suspension?

Lets explain what happened. Donald swung two helmets at a player. Myles swung one helmet at a player.

That's all we need to look at.

It's all about reputation of the league and the brand. They will do whatever suits themselves.

Now I can agree they should but if it says in CBA under no circumstances can the league suspend a guy for what happens in practice it's tough to go against the CBA.

That said, I have to think they can make exceptions. Thinking that beating up a ref or fan in practice would not be tolerated.

That said, I have to think they can make exceptions. Thinking that beating up a ref or fan in practice would not be tolerated.

Problem with what you're saying is we don't know what happened to start it. Rumor is that a Bengals player took off the helmet of a Rams player and threw it at him. Are we going to suspend players for every practice/joint practice brawl now?

I can definitely see it as not such an easy decision because of what you said......but they should be able to draw the line for certain instances. Is this one? Likely...but agree what happened before should matter, too.

The NFL is really a joke.

Nothing they do is about justice. The things Deshaun Watson did pale in comparison to Daniel Snyder and Jerry Jones.

I have listened to so many reporters- both national and local- coming on 92.3 to talk about the Watson situation and they all basically say the same thing- the NFL is not interested in justice and fairness. They do not care one iota about doing the right thing- they just care about optics.

To quote Tyrion Lannister- "If you want justice- you have come to the wrong place".
