And the Eagles at the S position are in dire straits on the Brisset comment
so read more into it when it's not your guy playing well? Makes sense.

Truth be told, I wouldn't put much into any of the reports we hear from practices we didn't see. Good or bad.

Bottom line, it was a preseason game. It doesn't count in the standings...

Make your adjustments, then your roster cuts, and move on...
He was talking about the joint practices and not the games. But I agree. I found a report where the Browns were shredding the eagles in the practices with play action and the Eagles were saying exactly what you did. Well, the adjustment part as not something they saw as much of in their own practices.

Not something I'd hear and think, great, JB is the answer and we wont miss watson.

Anybody know what the Bills added to and lost from the roster going into this year?

Added (FA): DE/OLB Von Miller, OL Rodger Saffold, TE OJ Howard, WR Jamison Crowder, DTs Settle and DaQuan Jones

Draft picks making an early impact: CB Kaiir Elam, RB James Cook, WR Khalil Shakir, CB Christian Benford (6th rounder surprising in camp)

Traded for: Case Keenum (backup QB)

Gone from 2021 roster: JDE/OLB Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison, CB Levi Wallace, WR Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley, DT Star Latulelei

OC Brian Daboll got the Giants job, promoted Ken Dorsey from QB coach to replace him

etc.

Yeah, preseason practices and games are tough to evaluate by, since most offenses and defenses play extremely vanilla to keep their tendencies off video as much as possible heading into the new season.

Yeah but you got think about his workload with the suspension and being a backup. I believe he has enough in the tank to warrant a 3-4 year contract. Plus he doesn’t rely on speed and a ton of athleticism to succeed.

Why don’t y’all trade for D’Ernest. The Browns are loaded at RB with Jerome Ford as RB4

I really thought D'Ernest would've had more interest this offseason. He's been beyond solid when needed.

Even harder to evaluate if one didn't even see the practices.

Being a Bills fan in the 80s was pretty brutal...
Heard this the other day and didn't check to see if true but talk about brutal.....Lions last playoff win was 1991. If that isn't bad enough the most recent before that was in the 50s.

Myles Garrett is what they call in football a defensive end. Defensive ends are not considered secondary positions. You should give football a shot. It’s really an entertaining sport. Maybe your girlfriend can help you learn the rules.
I dont care if you have Ronnie Lott, Deion Sanders, Polamalu and Champ Bailey in your secondary- if you dont get pressure- you can have the best 2ndary in the world and your secondary wont hold up.

if you dont know that about football- not much I can do to help.

84 to 86 was 2-14, 2-14, 4-12 before Marv Levy got things turned around. Freshman thru Junior years in high school...sigh. Luckily, the Rams were a playoff team during that time period, so it wasn't a complete wash.

I remember we were talking about franchise quarterbacks a while back (think it was here) and I brought up the fact that the Chiefs have had maybe a handful of QB's worthy of that title that have come through KC since the '60's. I remember the draft when Dan Marino was drafted. We ended up drafting...

Truth be told, I didn’t really read an update on Brissett. He’s a marginal QB that matters little to me.

The Jet's took Ken O'Brien in that same draft. At the time Blackledge was the consensus #1 pick. No one even heard of the college O'Brien came from much less heard of him.
