Thing is, we've all mentioned now that the Splash Brothers have yet to go off in this series. We're now midway through and I still don't see anything from them. As I've said before, I bash Lebron when he has a bad game. If those two want to be considered great, then they need to bring their game like the rest of their teammates have. Because they both have sucked ass this series. It's amazing how they're up 2-1 in this series. If their team played like both of them, Cavs would be up 3-0 and Adam Silver would probably have them forfeit game 4.
True. That's why the greatness of GS shouldn't constantly get overshadowed by the greatness of splash. This TEAM is simply awesome. That being said, one still has to believe Steph and Klay will catch fire at some point in the next 2 games and we will see just how truly outmatched Cleveland really is.

Well never know the answer then, cause they aren't winning 3 of the next 4.

We'll see. It is a monumental task for sure. Especially because of how good the Warriors are.

1 game at a time.

Now, if I could move on to THIS years Finals....when you make a 100 plus million(and is apart of the supposed big 3), I think the coach will feel the pressure to start you

Bogut only played 12 minutes last game.
Yeah I heard Kerr respond to a question about whether he considered not starting Bogut in the 2nd half.

He basically said that starting him or not starting him doesn't matter because they can sub him out anytime they want.

Bogut played 4 minutes in the 2nd half. (source)

He need to play 0 minutes. Did you not see how fast Cleveland got the lead back up to nearly 20 at the start of the 2nd half with Bogut back in. Went from 8 to 15 or 16 in less than 2 minutes

Kyrie deserves a shout out for his defense last night. Its only 1 game and I'm NOT trying to make any implications beyond just this 1 game.... but Kyrie dominated his matchup with Curry on both sides of the floor all game long.

Lead from 8 to 16 in those 4 minutes. At that point the game was already done.

Not to be "that guy"

The 1995-96 Bull lost a total of 3 playoff games
The 15-16 Warriors have now lost 3 playoff game by 20+ and 6 overall

But I wont be "that guy"
I expect plenty of aging old timer NBA guys will come out again and tell us their team would beat Golden State.

Should be fun when some guy on a 56 win team will bash them now after this loss.

Since I didn't logon until this morning I had the added privilege/joy/amusement of reading all of the pre-game discussion on this thread while knowing what was going to happen.

I quite enjoyed that.

I promise to let Cavs fans have their moment.....but this whole 2010 game 7 4th quarter debate will be settled with this post. No one can objectively watch this video of the WHOLE 4th quarter, and say that the refs rigged it for the Lakers.

Kobe was awful in that game.

So it was bc of Bogut that Kyrie was hitting shot, Lebron was hitting shots, why the Cavs were playing good D. He might have some to do with it, but him playing 4 minutes in the 2nd half isn't a bad strategy by Kerr.

Everyone knows that the '96 Bulls are still the all-time greatest team (record or not).

So then he failed to adjust in the OKC series or GS starting hitting shots? It does have some to do with adjustments, so what is a better gameplan? They played their small lineup like they have been doing for most of the game and Cleveland played their small lineup but it comes down to hitting shots. The bright spot could be that Cleveland has defended Curry and Klay pretty good all series, it could be time for them to wake up but it is safe to say the role players are why GS is up 2-1. Adjustments or not, they were hitting shots like Cleveland was last night.

He adjusted, but it took at too long. Curry on Westbrook was just plain stupid. He tried to get cute by putting his best help defenders on Roberson, when their matchups were fine straight up. If Klay had guarded Westbrook all series, OKC would not have won 3 games.

Not just Bogut.

The Cavs had 2 matchups to exploit that could have been easily fixed by inserting Iggy for Bogut and putting Klay on Irving. So yeah, their hot start to both halves is on Kerr. I can understand the first, but not the second. With Jefferson in the lineup instead of Love, there was no reason to stay big.

He can say that, but those 4 minutes decided the game. GS had momentum going into half and completely lost it to start the 3rd.

Also, his decision to bring Varejao in for Bogut was like doubling down on an already bad decision. It has seemed to me all playoffs that Kerr has been guessing with his rotations, unlike Billy Donovan who had a plan and stuck with it until he felt the need to adjust. Every one of Donovan's decisions made sense to me, where Kerr's have not.

GS is going to miss Luke Walton next year.

Didn't Klay guard Kyrie in the 1st quarter when he scored 16 points? Yes and better matchup but Bogut only played 4 minutes in the 2nd half.

No. Curry was the primary defender. Klay took him once or twice on switches. Like I said, those 4 minutes were huge. It is awful tough to come back from 20 points 2 separate times.
